Ascensioni in Death Row Pinnacle

I thought this was really cool. Cool movement

Took so long for me to complete but so worth it for this adventurey girdle up the pinnacle. 3 exciting sections. Kris had told me earlier in the day its a classic move of his to fall off after the crux and i remember hanging on to the final jugs yelling out that i think im gonna 'pull a kris'. Threw down some absolute wtf heel hook/thumb down jamb/press and snuck through. This and crooked mile for me today which was also a delight. Really vibing grade 18 out here. Enough to stir the pot but nothing insane.

Fantastic climbing up high. With TAFE

escaping from the cell was the highlight, but subsequent jumps over the encircling fences were also satisfying. im a free woman! but also was the last climb before returning to normal life so in some sense i am the opposite

heaps of fun, with lots of varied climbing! brilliantly creative and committing moves to escape the condemned cell

Gah. Came off at end of undercling section. Definitely not the first to do that. I did second this clean about 12 years ago, but I had forgotten everything…

Rpt. Good as one long pitch

This climb and the moves for the step across felt remarkably harder than The Venus Trap that we had just come from! I hadn't read the comments or book so followed the very misleading chalk marks that take the higher option. The crimps and very wide step across are simply not like any other 13 I've ever climbed! We then got to the belay and two moves up when it started to rain, too much for the polished Araps glass so we retreated and used the chains at the top to clean the gear. Probably not enticing enough for me to return and finish it

really good, fantastic climbing.

Full value for the grade! Done several easier feeling 19’s at the mount. Slung block in sentry box and nylon sling/rope for anchor at the top that could get you back to the ground with a 70m rope (just). Both okay quality for now but can easily be backed up with good wires

Beautiful route with 3 very different cruxes! Would be nice to lead it clean one day.

back on it for another attempt after several years. came unstuck with a foot slip at the start of the undercling section, but don't think I would have had enough juice left in me to finish. Will have to come back for it again

Very cool rock, took me a while to figure out the crux.

Climbed the Death Row and put the top rope on this climb. Had a bit of play. Amazing sequences. Difficult pro in the beginning to do it on lead.

Did it clean from the first go but can't call it onsight because got beta on how to negotiate the crux from my friend. Amazing climb! There is a bit of a right sequence to get out of the box. The next bulge is much easier. Great pro and there is a sling on the top you can belay and rap down from.
