That start requires some faith. Very nearly made a good hand jam, a permanent hand jam. It was like a tricky nut to remove. Never experienced this before and I admit, I was puckering a little

The start is horrible, however once you get to the cracks its really awesome.

Hard crimpy start leads to very smooth and great jamming all the way up

Good hip mobilty required for the moves off the deck on thin holds, whale over the slopey lycan ledge then blast up the crack with some sick bridging moves for those with lengthy legs

Ok focus on the climb jack. Focus on the climb.. So i drove to yims old house in west end to pick him up and told him i was out the front. He told me i wasnt. Shit. Had to get will from south bris cos hes a gronk and has big fridays, then made yim walk across the green bridge as a fully decked out trad christmas tree. We got to frog at a time that wouldnt indicate we were a party interested in climbing well. Picked literally the only climb being occupied. Will almost knocked off materialistic by a flying rap rope. I almost had an epic on wizards back after not taking any gear. Then yim thrust a .5 into the belly of mt french via the right hand crack on res corner. I then donated on wills behalf in the form of his alpine sling that i forgot to strip from the cam. The rain stopped so i decided to drag the boys up flying circus. Ok so now for the climb. Move near fixed rp had too thin feet. Fuck. Who cares. Aid. Rock over move crawl up slab. Shoulder bar up awkward corner to bucket from heaven then hand jam up to obliterated chain anchor. Clipped. Continued onto tree. Grigri wasnt enjoying quickly lowering the lads off climbs. Smelt like plastic. Doorstopper toasties, home.

Echoing Renee's thought, it's nobody's idea of fun hammering away at seated rps in the blank v groove, in my case in the dark but the climbing in the second half, from what I saw and climbed by torch light, was very good.

Sat on a #1 RP in the initial groove. Sent it all clean from there.

bottom section exciting and thetop section was simply magical

Did on second ~3 years ago, forgot that the start is harder then it looks. Could do with a carrot (or piton put back) to save finding out if the rp's would hold :p great climb, the start slightly detracts when a pulled rp would put you on the deck.

This is awesome! Lower corner crux is super balancy and interesting. The top corner crack above is classy as hell! Only used passive pro this lead for fun.

I agree with previous comments that there are definitely better routes at the grade at Frog. However, I still appreciated the opportunity to overcome some fear and trust the minuscule gear at the start. I also enjoyed the moves in the upper dihedral, though the rock quality is definitely somewhat lower than I've come to expect from Frog.

Climbed up and down the start a few times before deciding that I didn't want to hurt myself

I thought this was pretty poor. The initial corner is really hard to protect and the upper corner feels loose and is a lot easier. There are way better routes here.

With a triple rack of micro wires, there was enough gear at the start but it never gets wide enough for micro cams. Kind of annoying in that you are all focused on finding gear and not really on climbing. The top corner is quite nice but a long way off top quality Frog offerings.

Very good, thin moves and scary small wires at the start but felt confident doing them. Good hand jamming to the top. Got a bit pumped figuring out where to go

Cool route. Start is as sketchy as it looks. Pulled on gear to get through it quickly.

Really good! All wire/nut ascent for a bit of a laugh. The funky start is safe as houses with RPs, and is the REAL money in this climb: Tricky and delicate (and slightly wet after the rain yesterday). The rest of the climb is still quite good.
