5 sessions in total. It took me a while to like this climb as it all comes down to a single boulder problem with a reinforced hold, however the moves are actually frikkin awesome and the position is stellar. Possibly a little easier than Priapism.

Bit unexpected... just happen to run into Alex and we both just happen to send!! Amazing route, but not too hard if you know how to rest. Foot slip on the last move got the adrenaline going but somehow managed to stay on!

What an awesome route. 29/30, 7 days in total, had to cycle up the mount for this. I thought it was pretty difficult compared to other 8a aretes. Really tenuous balance of body position and power. Nice one Gaz!

Linked everything on the first go except for two sections. Neither felt show stopper, just required some out-of-the-box thinking to gain the next clip at each stage. Doesn’t feel far off going in a single push. Excited for the next burn.

The boulder at the bottom is brutal, so couldn't get all the moves. It gets easier as well as beautiful with nice moves after the 4th bolt.

Had a play on the bottom section. Couldn't make the move past the 3rd bolt, but the section below that came together fairly quickly. Very cool climbing. Keen to get back on it.

2 shots. Skin destroying arete-slapping, heel-wrapping bouldering like I've never tried before. First lap was a dogs breakfast that destroyed my skin and my muscles. 2nd shot had linkage and sequences coming together, and now theres only 1 move I'm not sure of. Would like to try this again (when my skin heals!). Strenuous, powerful, desperate and insecure, but UNIQUE in my experience.

Unique route, very fun climbing. Loved ticking this one, though take up plenty of fresh skin for your fingertips, won't get much more then 3 or 4 tries per session

Top Rope Solo. Definately not clean, and I was asking to be punished for getting on this. It was raining, the rock was wet and the summit wind was blowing. Freed first 2/3rds with a few rests despite the wet, but could hardly move my frozen hands by the final 1/3rd and battled to the anchor without putting together viable (repeatable) sequences. Awesome seam-crack and feature climbing on a thin, technical, just off-vertical face. Once an aid route, it now makes a great free route. Some gear req.

Fought so hard for the pure onsight and came so close, but finally fell at the last bolt amidst a sea of lichen, dirt and broken holds. Heh, maybe 1 star at most, this thing is too dirty and friable to be a 3-star route, and the 30m death scramble to get to it doesn't help. The trad start isnt too bad, and there are some genuinely fun (and desperate) arete and face moves... but the bad outweighs the good on this.

First three of many more laps im sure. All went free except a 3m chunk traversing from right wall to left wall at half height. Didnt get a chance to really try the last moves because of how a short fixed the rope. I reckon there will be some difficulty there

Found the directisimo line avoiding easy climbing and also figured the crux moves. Happy and surprised to get it third go today, after a lot of working on the crux on the first two goes.

Cam retrieval mission with guy was unsuccessful despite hammer, water spitting and all other tricks. Seconded guy up res shuffle. Sick. Climbed holiday in cambodia. Terrific jambing. Solid at 21 and felt even more so after repeating it to escape ultrahard. Meant to do ultrasound, 'larried myself' on the 26 variant. Climb name is pretty on point in retrospect. Might have been fun to play on toppy but yeah nah. Clair had to deal with a bloke who thought 23 had gotten 3 grades harder overnight. Probs not pleasant

I had got my sequence pretty dialed on TRS, so this felt good when I led it. Bolts are 8mm expansions and the 4th one has a very thin PFH hanger on - WTF?

Lead 1st half of AM to set up a top rope on P1. Sorted all the moves out. Cool pitch. In the middle of a dry spell, the jug at the top of the black streak is still wet. Therefore, its always wet.

First try tonight. The wet hold was dry! Main key was sneakily putting a long draw on bolt 7, and taping it in position to make it an easy clip from the 'wet' hold.

Onsight pitch 1 for a warm up, first route on Mt Welli. Climbed with OG, completely shrouded in freezing clouds! could not see the belay from the anchor, rope dissapeared into white. Awesome absorbing wall climbing thats never too hard, touch of spice up high and a tricky start. 3 stars love it.

Did the first few thin moves them fell just before the jug. Fingers cold and numb. Second try knew I'd hold the right crimp for a only tiny second so just dyno'ed to the jug with left hand and stuck it. Rest of the route is sweet

Forgot my shoes, so was attempting to climb in Deano's clown shoes. Warmed up on upper parts, got it from the lower ledge without a problem, but bottom section way too pumpy with shitty feet and shoes I couldn't trust.
