A small headland reserve south east of Shellharbour, home to popular swimming area Bushrangers Bay.
Limitazioni per l'accesso
Bass Point is accessed via Bass Point Tourist Road, past the marina at Shell Cove. The road in beyond the gate is unsealed, but easily accessible for 2wd vehicles (with a little pothole dodging). The reserve is reportedly closed between 8pm and 6:30am daily.
Specific climbing access in the reserve is unknown, as there appears to be no info or reference made to any climbing development online, however it's safe to assume that climbing within the Bushrangers Bay Aquatic Reserve boundaries is not permitted. Park in the carpark at the end of Bass Point Tourist Road, as for Bushrangers Bay. Instead of taking the stairs up to Bushrangers Bay, follow the track at the Southern end of the carpark, which tends right before leading down some concrete steps onto a large rock shelf. Turn right and make your way along the rocks to find the boulders.

Bass Point is a popular fishing, swimming and general recreational location. Be wary and respectful of other people in the area whilst climbing. Coastal headlands make up part of a fragile coastal ecosystem. It goes without saying but brush holds, ensure no litter is left at the crag, and try to minimise your impact on the rock and surroundings.
