Crampton Island Tutte Bouldering 10 vie in area

Crampton island itself is part of the relatively new Meroo National Park however according to the map of the park in the Plan of Management the northern rock shelf is excluded from the park bringing it under the control of Shoalhaven City Council. This is the area which is currently being explored and developed however there is potential further around the island so hopefully climbing is included in the next update of the plan of management making climbing permissable on all parts of the island.

From a practical side of things as stated this is a tidal island which means that a bit of planning needs to go in to deciding when you head out there. It would suck to get there at High tide and not be able to get out to the island... It would suck more to get out there and then get stuck until the next low tide... It would suck even more if the next low tide isn't until some time after midnight.
