Did set the draws for others and to go try Imogenation.

That low crux is definitely a tough one! Took a couple of goes to get it worked out. Ended up doing a thumb press on two tiny pebbles to help with the stand up. Hopefully they stay there for a long time! Overall an awesome climb, can't wait to return to try the extension.

climbed this to attempt the extension, but seeing as i got this clean, im ticking it! esp considering my shocking attempt the other day. moves from second bolt to third are probs my second fav sequence at the Theej

Crimps at the top were a pumper.

Had a crack on lead, after trying a crazy beta Nick showed me his way which worked really well, but ended up messing a crimp in the mid session, left it for another time.

glad to finally put this one away. the crux beta was mega dialled and the whole thing felt real good. will be back for the extension!

Last climb of the day, using the top rope we set up for Fat Crack. Committig climb

Got some vvv specific beta for the move written down. Hopefully can pull it together next time. Still feels like the top will be a pump fest though.

I have never pulled the direct 23 move (despite my prior crag logs - they were all the stem version). But then the smackdown began. Can never have too many wins a Cathedral.

However worth noting I used the flake to the right of the bolts but no stemming across fat crack, but the guidebook and crag mention staying left of the bolts for the 23. Anyone know something about this?

One working burn to remember beta (and get better beta from Nik for the bottom section), then it went easier than expected. Very fun climbing.

Went first go today after getting beta for the start from Nik. The rest was a chill climbing. Amazing to watch Nik making a surprise send of the 25 extension!

Desperate start. The rest is fine. On my second attempt couldn’t make the start so decided to leave it to another day

Ticked clean while putting the draws for Imogenation. Tough warm up

Finally, third try of the day, felt more tired but pulled it through

Passed both crux feeling amazing, blew this one on the slab by messing around with my feet. I still can't believe I fell there

Balancy start then some nice sustained moves.

Nice and interesting route. The start probably isnt two grades harder than the rest, but it is nervy if you dont have the third clipped (first two are low).

3 stars from me. Radical line and opening slab is awesome

Attempted the climb to see if I could do it, I blew it just after passing the crux of the 21 variants. Very fun one

First go, fell at the top crux going for a deadpoint bump with the right hand. After making some micro-adjustments to the feet and body positioning, I learned that static, crossover with the left hand is the way to go.

Now that we had the climb as dialed as we could, we just needed to make sure the crux holds and our hands were dry enough. Not easy with the heat and humidity in the middle of the day, but we both got back to back sends.

Send train with Pat. Deadpoint vs crossover at the top? Both work.

Weird that the start crux is meant to be the harder of the two, definitely find it to be the opposite.

Dry fired on the second crux and took a huge fall with a super soft catch. Ended up next to my belayer, Anton Korsun .
