Had a VERY long day with my friends who are new to multipitching. Lots of traffic. We got a rope snagged when pulling it down after the first rappel, which I think is quite a common issue on this route,so yeah be a bit wary, maybe factor in some extra time

Dogged up it but couldn’t stick the crux. Very enjoyable climbing.

Actually enjoyed this enough to recommend it. It’s a bit of a bush bash to get to the base but it’s good value. Unfortunately I misread the last sequence and blew the onsight at the last bolt.

Tried lead rope soloing but grigri bound up in the roof dam

So good! First ever climb in Araps with the best crew. Managed to get our rope stuck while rappeling from the mini pinnacle.

Sticking the crux move reliably with new beta, now the next move is the new crux :')

Slimy slippery polish in the crack. Not a huge fan, but it is good. Would second, but not lead again.

Got up to the last buldge before after getting completely bottled below. Rested on gear rather than committing to the crux on hands that could barely open a 'biner. Need to remember to place a purple cam in the crux crack/ pocket reaching from the flat jug to the right. Before then in the big crack, place a red cam in the pocket below. Overall happy with my effort despite being very unhappy at the time. I think the right decision was made. Had a high left foot to get past the lower crux. Must try again. Single rock of cams up to #3 and single rack of nuts with pink tricam should do.

Sustained pump management with good gear. I liked this. Felt close to the ground all the time so I placed a lot.

Nothing to write home about. Crux seemed to be small hold pulling unless I missed some beta.

Some awkward beta through the lower corner, but moves throughout the rest were otherwise a delight. Impressive lead by Josh, I would have been squirming. Good composure.

Superb. Happy with how I climbed this, not as long as I was expecting. Crux moves provoke thought and commitment. Ripper. Thanks for following on this Josh.

Clipped the chains this time! So sick. Did all the moves but one which apparently isn't a crux for anyone else 🤔

Found the gear fiddly, great route!

Bulgy crux moves were super fun. Couldn’t find the position, hang around for ages, then finally sent along with a desperate snatch right at the end.

A couple of big moves off the deck then eased off considerably. The big moves were fun though.

Realised I wasn’t enjoying the exposure on the high downclimb and decided to call it there.

Best climb if the day!
