Ascensioni in Eagle's Nest come Roped Solo

Clean top rope solo on second attempt. Didn't try to eliminate right crack.

Finished cleaning the route and climbed it on solo toprope. The route follows a series of steps, but there isn't really a crack or any real pro, so solo it or top rope it.

The anchor for a toprope is funky. I was clipped into the bolts for The Overhang. So, I had to cross over and finish on the Overhang instead of going up Boomin' System to the top.

Cleaned it before climbing it. It was pretty dirty, so I don't think anyone has been on it in years.

Top rope soloed the route early in the morning. I set up my anchor on the ledge as the short bit after is just a scramble. I was able to get in good enough anchors, but it took a lot of work and a bit of excavating. Enjoyed the climb, though. Don't anchor on the tree - it will likely pull out. There are shallow places to put cams. A Tricam works well left of the tree, facing the cliff. In the alcove on the right there is a nice vertical crack to place an SLCD. The route is relatively clean, but the missing bolt should be replaced.

Cleaned a lot of lichen and dirt off this route. There are a couple of placements that should make this well protected for a lead.

Finished cleaning the route and then did my first roped solo, using a Petal Traaxion and backed up with a Grigri 2.
