Ascents of The Siege of Thermopylae

First falls with John. Good route but a very unobvious crux. I tried the wrong sequence at the traverse crux. Tiny and sloping feet in the thin, grey crux. At the traverse go further up than you think – traversing low is pribably possible but incredibly hard.

You know it's a technical climb when your legs hurt more than your forearms.

This was a bit of a battle, quite sequency and some of the draws were difficult/spicey to put up with the smallest of clipping holds. The crux about two thirds up is very hard. Virtually no feet and a series of 1-2 finger pockets going over a bulge and traversing to the right. Took a fair few falls here and donated a fair bit of skin/blood to the rockface, though I did manage to make it to the chains. Would love to come back and try again one day. Thanks to Tom for the belay and patience whilst I battled.

Awesome. Just gotta use your feet. Really technical climbing.

Slabbbb Whattt!! Naa it was cool 2 tricky areas which made me scared!

Really had to think through the sequency crux at 3/4 height.

Only 6c+ in the guide, I had previously fallen off this. Nearly did again today. Nails slabbing! Ergh!
