river needs water in it! low traverse varient at end going from right to left goes at about 20 i reckon - balls of steel required for high level traverse when river is dry... either that or i was at the wrong crag

more to te point unavoidable unles you want to go back around to the decent gully... would rather climb eggnog out of this area
