clean rp finally. hazard noted: brown bat in torpor (hibernating, hopefully not for too long) in a pocket between the lower gluein and the bolt / hanger above

harder than piece of duff. committing start; high first gear.

finger crack to a hand then a layback fingers. there's an easier way but then you miss out on half the fun. 2nd half is 5.easy blocks to glueins.

'polished' parts feel better when it's cold and quiet and there aren't people toproping all over the place. better friction

dry where it needs to be dry. don't need to get muddy if you don't want to. much better to start at holy trinity if you want a harder than 5.0 opening pitch, so did it again from there.

whoops #2. pretty wet today. found the rest of the route but still couldn't find any fixed gear at the top, had to use the rap station 3m left of the top of the route.

pretty hard for the grade (not good at finger cracks). cams hold well, so should be quicker next time

I went kinda offroute to the left after the crux (roof pull, direct). whoops

bumping wide gear helps.

I did it as an offwidth crack and it felt harder than Shimmy, a 5.8. if you use your brain instead, the 5.5 is really a 5.5. Fun either way.
