Excellent climbing. Definitely deserves the R rating IMO, if one (pretty average) piece popped you’d be pretty close to the ground if not a soft deck. The smallest of micro cams might have helped protect this section

Did the direct finish. For the first 2/3rds of the climb I placed only small wires and nothing larger than a 0.3 Camalot. It definitely felt like the R rating was deserved, and there was significant ground fall potential at the beginning of the climb. However, the traverse (which was easy) was actually not as scary as the unprotected, first 3 metres of climbing (which was one of the hardest parts of the climb) where I thought I might pitch off and land on the rocks below. I would recommend considering protecting the very beginning of the climb on abseil and stick clipping the first piece.

stoked i look like a hard piece test nut climbing all these R rated things on the crag. let's get a quick shoutout to the guidebook that doesn't use R ratings, and rather provides cryptic suggestions as to risk. the gang also decided this climb is undeserving of the three stars awarded in the guidebook. make it a two star nightmare like the other two star nightmares (more on my two star theory later).

Exciting and engaging. Was not thrilled by the gear. Placements are tiny, thin, and flared. RPs would have been nice. But the climbing is so great! Heady but fun.

Just did it on top rope. It was pretty easy on top rope, but would be a daunting lead due to the lack of good gear and balancy moves. We did the exit to the right of the boulder.

Sandbagged, runout, and sustained. Looked like there was gear most of the way up the initial crack, but it'd be difficult to get it in, and then there's a significant runout before the bolt, which included what I felt was the crux, traversing left to the slab under the bolt. Definitely harder than 18 (maybe 20, maybe 19?) and I definitely had no desire to lead this!

The start is the crux, fairly average hands and feet, some gear at left but I considered myself basically soloing for the traverse, which does have decent feet. Gear, holds and rests much more frequent after that all the way to the top. Fun but not sure I'd give it 3 stars.

Awesome climb! Delicate and a bit dodgy until you get the first piece in. Once you have done the traverse then its all pretty straight forward. My 9 year old boy fought his way up it like a champ.

Amazing. Quite runout, and over very small gear, but the fact that there's good feet (and hence rest available) the whole way makes that much easier to deal with. The crux is the start, and is bouldery and difficult to protect. Once through that, the traverse right is unprotected, but easy and with good gear at both ends. Then there's an additional runout when you move back left. Gear: Mainly RPs and small nuts, with occasional small cams and bigger nuts, and a few bigger cam placements (up to BD #0.75) in the upper half.

Absolutely brilliant, delicate climbing. There's plenty of pro, but most of it is fiddly and not very good. I really enjoyed it, but definitely a climb best done when feeling focused and relaxed.

The climbing in the bottom section is arguably better than Missing Link, but it all gets a bit easy after the bolt so loses classic status because of it's discontinuous nature. Still worthwhile if you are there

This climb put me in such a calm state. Good holds. Delicate movements. A beautiful line up that curving white streak. And the below par pro that makes you know that you have to be in the zone. Classic.
