Ascents of Windjammer as Onsight

Chossy first half, fun offwidth move then rewarded with a few meters of beautiful jams

Rock is dubious down low as others have noted. Gets better though!

first half was crumbly, second half has awesome jams. belay from top awkward without large gear 5+. otherwise i redirected to carrots ontop of cliff a couple metres right looking at the route

Wide bit took far too long to figure out. Short handcrack at the top doesn't make up for the chossy start, not sure what all the fuss is about.

Save your #2s for the top which is not what i did haha. harder then icebird.

I would take x1 4 x5 x3 #2s for your flash attempt. hella fun!

Almost ran out of gear and had to ration it very carefully to get to the top

climb out at the end of the day, starting to get dark. Exciting hands and fist crack to finish!

A camalot 4 works well enough at the wide bit, a 5 is better.

first half is a bit of a jug fest (no complaint) but where the climbing gets the points is at the top, really cool position, some great jamming, sometimes full body in the off width, and doesn't let up until the very end. really enjoyed this one.

Big wide crack action to finish the day. I felt bearded.

Felt a whole grade-and-a-half easier than Ice Bird, and about 1.5 stars worse, too. No real crux on this, but reasonably good climbing the whole way. Protection and rock at the bottom is not so great. The off-width is pretty straightforward.

Brilliant. Rock was a bit loose down low, but varied and awesome climbing.
