Nice to come back to this after such a long time. Manage to work all the moves and refine the beta, but not in shape for such a bouldery route at the moment. It felt good to stick the first move and work the top crux.

Cold made the slopy compression feel more juggy but still not juggy enough

Highpoint to the lunge to the jug at the end of the crux, didn't quite have enough beans to lurch up through those underclings.

Awesome techy climbing, though got kicked off trying to get to "it gets better"'s starting hold. Feels outrageously far R and low for me. Anyone know if the line does go this low?

Took a few falls in the lower section. Struggled to climb into the crux but eventually got the moves to the top.

Techy crux. Super fun, coming back for the tick.

The undercling is mega but the high left foot going into it is so microscopic. Foot popped and fell like 5m on the onsight burn. Super duper fun tho will do again.

new proj. Fateful day where wet mist dissipated after our long walk to the crag (gate was locked). Mega route, I went well with moves to 4th bolt, need to rest more and move efficiently to next clip and until next jugs where we clipped an alpine quickdraw. Find rest for tough next clip, respite at heel hook in flake then squeeze out the rest to anchors.

Not convinced it deserves 3 stars to be honest. Cool climbing - big deadpoints - with a low crux between bolt 1 & 2, but off-centre. The crux itself I found very unpleasant, as the pocket is very sharp & fits 1.5 fingers for a deadpoint. I’ll be back to send it.

Nice. Got my beta at the end of the session. Will come back for this one. Can't sit start though due to reach to 1st RH hold so will squat start.

Did all the moves but didn’t get enough to do the release from the start.

Buggered up the crux at the start. The rest is super cruisy.

Session two:

• Back to back trousers days is a bad idea; need as much gas as possible to maximise each session.
• A few key parts of the low crux unlocked thanks to Kyle and Alex’s send video beta. Thanks lads!
• Why do my hips and legs have DOMs?? Oh, it’s from all that damn body tension!
• Grade 28 is fooking haaaaard.

Struggled to find my mojo on this one. One hard move that’s doable then a hard top out!

Feel like I’m not doing the crux correctly. Finding this climb quite difficult. Can’t figure out the crux moves in the middle.

as Mike Tyson said - everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. I didn't have a plan when I received my punch on the onsight attempt - what was supposed to be a big juggy ledge turned out to be a sloppy greasy desperate nonsense. few sporadic attempts to negotiate the situation ended with a heart breaking whip, leaving me ponder wtf has just happened. Also I didn't find an anchor at the top and my belayer didn't want to second it anyway so I ended up backjumping and cleaning the whole way down. Destroyed!

Great route. Felt substantially harder than the neighbouring 24s. At the start of the difficulties I stepped left into Metal Rain because going direct between the bolts was too blank for me to manage.

I was sure I could send two 29 in a day but nope, got close. Nice route but not my favourite of the grade. (Fell just before the last crimp at the crux).
