Led P2. P1+3 clean. Wicked route...bags of character, cool stone and features. Soft for 23 we thought.

The route I always gawped at in my very first guidebook 6 yrs ago - the position, the line, the grade etc. Today I got to climb it..a climbing milestone for me. Probably more 22 moves than 23 but with a fierce wind, some shady rock and all that exposure it didn't feel that easy! Sooo cool.

Led P2+4. Snappy rock makes for engaging climbing with surprisingly good moves - really enjoyable, especially p4...all way better than it looks. Bolt ladder is the crux.

Gets classic status because you'll never climb anything like it again. P1 is the money. P3 I went for a sandy nothing instead of the right hold early on. 2nd shot the treat. I think you could easily take a grade of each pitch in terms of the actual climbing difficulty...it's just the position that makes it feel harder.

Spectacular - A true mega-classic. **Take zero beta!!... The onsite experience, the journey and adventure is all part of the epicness on this one.

Pumpy. Wasn't ultra inspired by the climbing.

A very hungover affair. A fall from last hold of the crux, a hang and then clean to top.

Rpt. Surprised to get this clean in the state I was in. Better than I remembered - really quite a cool route.

Hard traverse, nice middle section, easy top. Nice route actually after that initial traverse!

Went for the onsite. Pumped out after hitting a few of the wrong holds up top and blew the onsite clipping the bloody anchor! Haha. No time for a 2nd lap today.

Really sweet climb, love the shouldery tech slab to juggy roof and head wall.

Climbed through to the last draw but a few refinements needed to decrease the pump.

Great route. P1 - led clean (adventurous for sport), P2 - climbed clean to bolt before crux. Couldn't make the final move of the crux and with a stretchy 2nd rope not on autobloc I ended up having to aid through to the break (seeing where I should have been reaching for!). Climbed the rest fine - watch the rock at the top - I pulled a huge chunk off.

Left draws on for 2nder. Eventually went for draws retrieval lap.

Did a 2nd lap coming onto it after the 3rd bolt still thinking it was Language of Desire until I took a real close look at the features on the topo.

Damn it. Went to a shitty chalked up nothing hold and came off after the 2nd. Then just loaded up, skipped the nastiness and cruised. Will get 2nd shot.

2nd shot. Silly to miss the onsight.

Thought I was on Language of Desire but it turns out I came onto this after the 3rd draw by accident. Still a great line.

Putting top-rope up. Enjoyable climb.

Tougher than I remember. Reinforced an old dog rather than clean it up. Excellent.

Went too high before crimp rail smeary traverse towards end and fell.

Rpt clean. Climbed as a 3 - 6.5hrs car to car. Led pitches 3 + 7. Sun on wall at 1330.

Rpt. Up lead, down lead to retrieve all previous leader's gear.

Hung at crux after awkward clip. I didn't find the whole 'left traverse or direct' beta particularly useful. Went direct and it climbed well first burn, the left way was not for me. Horses for course I guess. Should get this 2nd shot.

What a weird finish. Took me a while to figure out the weave.

What a crazy start. Must have tried it 5 different ways before just going for the dyno and sticking it 2nd shot. Thought the crux was over then entered the crimp fest on shredded fingers. Not smooth sailing. Lol.

Great climbing. Wasn't even pissed I had to climb it twice!

Ridiculous fall right below the chains when my fingertip tape (my soft raw fingertips persist) ripped and I came off a crimp while totally in control. Gahhh. At least I was forced to do another lap this way - supwr-enjoyable climb
