got the crux! needed to crank final crimp! next time!

Got to the top, but jesus the crux is awkward as hell, didn't climb it properly and ended up getting mega frustrated in the heat, had to clip up. Found the route hard to work aswell

first time linking from the ground to the end of the first crux and im super psyched on how good it felt - then realised i didnt have any beta sorted for the second OH WELL. still hyped on the progress 😎

Wonderful line. Again, need to train more to come back and have a chance

fell on the traverse after crux, weighted the rope at the clip after that.

Hard to work and hard to read. Found my way through the moves after trying all combinations, pulling harder seemed to workout. Pretty classy climb

Onsight attempt went well, until I arrived at the undercling and got shut down

get to change this to a puppy. progress is cool and i only punted off the first clip once so yay

Shut down by the crux as expected but psyched to come back and work this some more

All the moves done, 1 sit climb. Should have had it but foot popped on the mantle and then got too hot for another good attempt.

Should go quick next time!

Super happy to get through the crux after being shut down a couple weeks ago. Seems within reach now

Can't tell if its close enough to work but enjoyed it none the less

A whole bunch of burns on the cruxy move after the 4th bolt - solved via YouTube beta but then too gassed to continue. Will definitely be back

Couldn't find beta that worked

Working go after falling at the crux - need a category for Alzheimers Brownpoint. ie Youve done it back in the dark ages on Trad its retro now but it was so long ago that you have no idea wtf you are doing anyway. better than I remember, or maybe all the recent ascents and the bolts have helped. Bloody good.

Got on to clean someone elses draws expecting to do it off 1 bolt, cruised the crux but didn't know the next sequence, was about to come down before trying different beta for the mantle which worked, will go next session for sure

Got the crux on my 3rd attempt, worked the next section a few times but had to leave so bailed

Played around on the crux on Sam and Ollie's draws. Doable. The core-shot rope didn't inspire confidence.

Harrrrd crimps

Another burn, another learn.

Short person's version: from pocket and underclink, feet high and wide. Left to sidepull crimp, right to round-spiky crimp. Top of "penis-hold" is good for right hand. Feet high for pocket throw.

3 solid atemps, one of which i fell at the first crux, got back on right away and linked both cruxes!, last attempt of the day fell on the last hard move of the route. SOOOONNNN

one somewhat lame attempt with ultra thin skin.

Great route!! Weird funky start into easy ramp that quickly hits the weird reverse-grab undercling & pocket to crimps crux. Beautiful moves to the rail-mantle and more crimps, finishing to an easier runout finish. Will have to come back to clean it (before the sun hits!).

Hard but could go.

Will keep trying.

2nd session working on it in 1 year, feeling close!
