Begehungen in Kaputar northern section

Last session for the year, couldn't get it done in 34 degrees, but feeling it. Yeoow

Surprisingly climbed really nicley with a sense of adventure whilst it doesn't see much action

Bad ass movements in steep country with what seems to be a long sustained section of climbing. Quality

Classic, can't believe the rock is as solid as it is. Pure joy to climb

Short and sweet, hard to read onsight with it dirty

This thing felt amazing once the moves where learnt, some of the most engaging climbing I've had to hang the draws.would try again

One of the scariest bits of rock, all hollow sounding, broke off crucial holds now alot harder

A less hideous start than its neighbour, but unfortunately this one's crap rock is through the main crux. I suspect a key flake has broken off, as I never managed the mid-height crux move once. The upper crux as well is at least 24.

Probably 25. A hideous disintegrating start for 15m leads to 7m or radical climbing. The "dyno" move is rather nails. Though I could probably do this second shot, I didn't want to subject myself to the masochistic start again.

An unnecessarily runout and disintegrating slab leads to 5m of genuinely rad steep moves. Probably 23 to the small break above the last bolt (which you could clip the anchor from with 120cm sling on it), but 25 to clip the anchor with a normal sized draw, or do the moves to get above it (as I did). Lots and lots of bird shit on this one.

I drove 700km for this. It was worth it.

had another three attempts... still no send.

just sussed out the bottom third.

had three cracks at axed on the weekend and now have the beta dialled in.

Had another crack at TW’s pitch 1. Some fantastic big moves at the overhang.

One the most engaging and varied climbs I have ever experienced. Still can’t get past the second crux. Absolutely amazing route. Beware, some bolts are loose and I will bring a spanner and hammer next time I have a crack.

Still lots of loose rock on the slab to beware of. Some Very fun moves before the dyno near the top.
