Einträge in Tyrolean Alien Boulder

A singular boulder of great character and height which lies 20meters from the road into Tyrolean. This one rock offers a small selection of good technical and powerful climbs and projects between V0-V6+. Problems which topout are tall so bring extra pads and spotters. Decend via a V1 down mantle onto the ledge behind on good holds. Looks like a big "Simpsons alien" head from the right angle.

From either the big juggy Flake or the smaller crimps to the left, move up onto the first holds of the arete and then break powefully left across the slighty overhanging face on small edges and flakes to a high topout. Climb close to, but do not use the big boulder on the left. Recommended also don't fall on it.

Start on the big juggy horn and move up the arete through crimps before trending leftward on rails to a high topout.

Start four points on the bar fridge sized block down low on the far right side of the outcrop. From here make your way left past a larger separate boulder and left again onto the main big boulder. Continue to follow the fissure through technical moves to finally finish with both hands on the big juggy horn which is the start holds for The Parafin Alien. All holds are in.

As for The Tyr-Alien Traverse but eliminating everything above the horizontal fissure. The first few moves remain the same, the second half gets tricky.

10m behind the main Alien Boulder is a short vertical face with a pizza slice shaped detached flake at its base. This problem sit starts on the pizza slice and moves dynamically up to the top.
