Begehungen in The Shaft Slabs als Clean

P1. No harder than Shaft P1 but would need to be slabbing well to lead it.

Fun slabbing

Mediocre. Also thought it was a bit of a sandbag, even if you call it Top Rope Only.

This is soo good. Washes crashing in and precarious slabbing. Fun!

Felt hard at the black streaks! Feels contrived as it's easy to escape left into Dopes at the start, or right up flake for 2nd half. You know when it says "Gary Scott (solo)" that this isn't a good route to lead!

Not sure about this. Found an easier variant starting standing on the boulder to the left, also got up using the crack in the middle of the boulder, but felt very close to Shaft.

Didn't climb above the "weird shaped boulder" - a rope stretcher on top rope. I thought this was very similar to 'Shaft', not worth writing home about.

Pleasant enough. Much easier than 'Granita' - all on toprope though.

They all seemed the same by this stage.

Henry thought the rock on the RHF looked sus.

insecure start but well protected, then minimal pro but not too hard. Fortunately I dont live in Adelaide so I wont be tempted to lead it!

This block's a bit crumbly.

Not particularly memorable.

Avoids the real business.

Would "require a certain degree of coolness".

Can't deny it's a classic, particularly the finish.

A little confusing - must stay R of the main crack until the big overlap with the hole.
