Clearly, it's one of the area's icons. I'm glad I managed to reach the mossy top without sacrificing my skin.

I don't remember if I tried it with Dan 2 years ago, but even if I did I completely forgot what was that about.

A Grampians worthy climb in a middle of Mt. Alex. Went in 2 sessions, once I convinced myself the throw right is doable and worth all the cuts and flappers.

Sit start on a low rail with first move to the pinch may be a V5.

Maybe the top rock isn't as weak as I initially thought.

Went all the way left to the flakey jug and it felt like one of the nicest problems here.

Basically a flash, but did the 8-ball first.

Found a really nice "remote control" intermediate, which changed the problem from "just reach farther" to more controlled and technical.

L->R. 1 year, 3 lockdowns, but it finally worked.

We looked for something soft to warm up on. This was not the right choice.

Tried to do Sparkling without the block on the right. Turned out I did "Extra". Boy, this block is crowded. IMHO deserves the Sparkling stars, as it provides a bit different challenge than Stout, while Sparkling is just a different approach to the exactly same crux.

Amazing one! So many options, such a fun route.

Beta for start: Feet left on the pedestal under the roof with left foot toehook. Left hand slightly higher on a shitty sidepull. Right hand super low on a incut sidepull.

Returned two years later to check if it's any easier. Discovered it deserves a star with some incredible moves and a sweet toe hook.

Flashed, then couldn't repeat first move. 😅

Not sure if done right. Traversed all the way to the left, then went up. Based on the chalk it seemed, I should've moved up like one move earlier. Not a big difference thought. Great, pumpy traverse. Nice, rewarding V0 finish.
