The Guffert is a 2,195 metres (7,201 ft) high, isolated, prominent limestone alpenstock in the Brandenberg Alps (Rofan) that, together with the Guffertstein, forms a twin peak.

Park at "Gasthof Waldhäusl". (47.521641, 11.787441) From there it's about a 2h hike to the base of most climbs. Bring water, beer and sunscreen!

Beschreibung

This Klettergarten was created in 2017 and has 20 routes in various lenghts from 9 to 18 meters on the wall created from limestone blocks (probably created to strenghten the tunnel inside the rock)

Zustieg

Is located directly on the Achensee coast, several minutes from bus or boat stop. There are (paid) parking lots nearby. Access is easy even with bike or stroller, as the spot is directly on the cycling route.

Drive to Maurach. From the top of the cable car Rofanbahn follow the trail towards Dalfazalm but not in direction Steinernes Tor/Hochriss, but directly left.
