Used to climb the NE ridge.

Once again, I suck at crack climbing

Great quality crack climbing not too far from camp. Low commitment (bolted anchors). Rapped down after pitch 4. The 5.9 was the crux for me. Bring a #4 and extra nuts (for pitch 2) and #2-3 (for pitch 4) or run it out!

Forked left too early but got back on route later. Left side is chossy.

Wow! What a fantastic route. The crux would probably get a 19 at Frog buttress back home and is super fun. The 4th pitch is no doubt the best pitch of climbing I have ever done in the mountains, twin cracks pulling a small roof into a splitter hands corner to another roof. Amazingly delightful! Stoked I got to lead both of those pitches We banged this out early as weather was predicted to come in and we figured if it held we could get another route done. Climbed in 2.5hrs however the rain started at 10:30am rather than 6pm. This is the mountians!

Pitches 1, 2, 4, and 5 are incredible!

P1 Direct is a better time. P2, P4, and P5 are some of the nicest granite crack pitches I've ever done. Spectacular! Definitely botched the descent with Scott, got lost and wandered the backside of Crescent for 2 hours before getting back where we came down off the free hanging rap. Still awesome.

Sweet as! Really good climbing but too bad it doesn't climb a spire 2nd and 4th pitches are gems. Bailed off top of 5th because of the thunder

Stupid fucking name but the climbing was good. Adventurous and occasionally intricate to protect and partially vegetated in parts but I thought that added to the experience in a seagulls-puking-on-Euros-climbing-mossy-Greenland-big-walls kind of way. It reminded me of a shorter and slightly easier version of the route me and Ben put up on Mashanig in Soqotra a few years ago.

A good route fer sure but overrated I thought. The direct looks good but I will take a triple set of wide gear when I next schlepp my shit up there. The top chosses out. This route is likely a classic simply because of it being within pissing distance of Applebee.

Best route I have ever climbed in my life. Too much fun.

Found the 5.8 first pitch a bit of a wakeup, widening a bit more than expected! Not well travelled, top full of lichen and dirt. Finger crack on pitch 2 makes it all worth it though!

Pitches 2, 4 & 5 are fantastic!

Somehow I ended up with the chimney pitch.
