Begehungen in Lower Tier

Placed a great nut behind the flake. So well placed I left it there as an example of a bomber placement

Hard VS! Lead p1, follow P2.

Really cool climbing. Big moves on positive flakes. Climbed it on my mate Will's gear after he took a huge whipper from the top. Gear generally seems fairly safe. My first E5 lead!

Downclimbed from halfway.

Big solo mission after toprope practice

Took the biggest whipper possible fluffing the crux after the long fingertip traverse and took the brutal pendulum into the rounded arete of 'Eugene's Prow'. Luckily my head broke my fall and I only smashed my helmet to bits. A trip to A+E for a brain scan and the all clear was well received. Damn that run-out crux reachy rock-over. I'll be back.

Cruised it seconding my mate and then went for the lead. Clean first shot.

That beautiful final arete...wow...only wish it was longer.

Fight up the offwidth. A good grovel. Also climbed the crux of Elegy and then back climbed it for fun on the way.

P1 - 2nd Clean P2 - O/S Lead

What a climb. Left my chalk behind on purpose to force discomfort - that was probably an unwise choice for leading P2. super exposed feel.

Night Ascent. P1 - O/S, P2 2nd Clean, P3 - O/S. P3 is great, novel top belay grooves lol.

Unusual route where you learn how to down climb a flake, protect a seconder on a traverse, and setup a very distant anchor for the 2nd belay!

Made it on the second proper attempt ground-up. Tough start without protection, and so down climbed this on the first attempt as didn't have any feeling in my fingers and wasn't feeling confident enough to match hands on the lay back to move right across the crack.
