Begehungen in French Cattle Ranch

Clipped the chains for the first time! Felt sooo much easier than last year but a little tweaky on the fingers, not sure if I'll come back to it..

All moves except long move in crux. Maybe not the climb for me!

Garbage choss past the first anchors. Wandery and forced movement. Not great quality rock, lots of hollow flakes. Pulled a baseball block off that my belayer had to dodge. It did not serve me well.

The second you step off the coral club bolt line this thing goes from 5 stars to 1. You are better off warming up on the 10c. The first bolt is too low on crap stone, keep on coral club then traverse to the 2nd bolt off to the right. Don’t bother with the extension, it adds no value to the climb and i pulled a few blocks off up there.

Stemming is the way to go. It’s way more fun.

Start broke, now a V3/4 boulder problem to get off the ground. Took a few goes to figure it out.

Oh yeah let’s put the coolest name in the canyon on an incredibly subpar line.
