Ascents of San Pornando

Fantastic pitch. 40m of sustained face climbing and not the slightest bit of chalk to guide the way, was on the wall for a while! Had a hold break up top but somehow kept on trucking to the chains. Highly recommend this one

Clean Repeat. Why doesn't this get done more? It's been an age since I last ticked it, and was a joy to climb straight-up today with no real problems, despite it being completely untrafficked. Rock the entire way was bomber, and even the grey-section was so clean you could eat off it.

Really enjoyed this. Long and interesting.

Surprisingly to myself managed to flash it after watching my friend doing it. The crux is closer to beginning probably around 3-4 bolt. Other than that no single move is particularly difficult but since there's no chalk marks it's hard to find your way. Plenty of good-ish rests. A heartbreaking move right before the anchor.

Amazing! Wanted to jump off a few times to let the brain relax but managed to keep on going and going..

Didnt really enjoy this one, especially the sandy bottom. Super hard to onsight with not a sight of chalk and wandery climbing. Couldnt reach the pocket at the upper crux, climbed to the right on super bouldery side pulls. Just lowered off with a 75m rope.

Monty24Day #3. Oh god. So much had to go right for this onsight to come off on a hot day. I got pwned on the initial 20m black slab. I'm tipping a shorty would get completely bricked on a particularly reachy section up high. To top it off, I almost came off the final move.

Took some nice whippers...haven't done it clean....

2nd shot. Happy with this tick, 42m is a long way. I'd heard this hadn't been onsighted, so I gave it everything (with no chalk or wear on the holds, and only the bolts to guide my wandery way) but couldn't get through all the tricky sequences to send. A tad sandy, a bit brittle, a bit old-school. But a truly awesome route IN THE STYLE. If this was 2-pitches, I wouldn't bother. But 1 x 42m pitch is inspiring. A few 23-ish moves, with sustained climbing but separated by good jugs to rest on.
