Ascents in Lake Catani as Tick or First ascent

surprisingly tricky at the grade

I get why they call it the sausage...

Fun start. committing. delicate traverse and then the climb over the nose...cool. Wish it was longer.

Fun for the grade.

2 pitches first up V easy slab to rap bots then up short hand crack.

Nice rock. Might have led if we realised how easy it is.

Seemed like asking for trouble doing a climb called epic at the end of a good day out. Ended up being fun.

Surely this has been done before? It was about 30m from our tents...but we did break off the obvious footer, and scrape and brush away a lot of moss that would be hard to avoid.

Great little offwidth problem, and will now be mandatory for every stay at Catani.

Delecate climbing + fiddley protection, good mixture of crack and slab climbing.

Excvellent sport route, hard last move and hard 1st move

Sustained and somewhat sketchy in places, great rock. Crux at top

Hard I thought, good gear in crack, harder the higher you get...footwork intensive

Classic! A must do for everyone headed to Buffalo, great views from the top also! Awesome!
