Almost onsight - overshot the dyno! 2nd shot. Old school flavour.

Brilliant unconventional trad climbing leads to the legendary dyno move, which is as big as they say.

Perfect moves on perfect rock. Couldn’t ask for more

Connected the dyno on the flash attempt but couldn’t hold it. 2nd attempt screwed the undercling. 3rd attempt send. What a move!

Must believe you are a froggy. Soft for 27, since I did it third shot. Malcolm is planning to replace the crux bolt some point soon, but we didn't have time today.

Quite the move! Fell off on the undercling move on the OS attempt.

More aesthetic than the Fist for me, awesome sloper pump fest, tricky crux, pump it past a fixed wire and a cam, lap up a rest, then 10 metres of big moves on incredible rock to the chains.. Brilliant. Mandatory Victory whip of course.. ! 4th shot

Worked the moves on Saturday got the send second go sunday, so much fun

Last day of trip, last shot, sun setting, belayed by HB himself. What's better than Mega Classic? 7th shot over 4 days. I can quit climbing now.

Fell from the very, final move on Saturday (6th time on it), then got it Sunday (7th go on it)...surprisingly, very seedy from the night before... The jump off the top was almost as good as doing the route itself...don't short-change yourself!

This was SUPER, after the crux slopers, you could come off anywhere on your way to the top! Love the cut loose thru the rooflet. [3]

Super cool mega awesome climbing!

3rd shot today, 4 in total. I wouldn't of imagined 3.5 years ago when I started climbing that I would be clipping the anchors on this mega route! Amazing climbing on the best rock I've ever touched.

2nd shot, placing 2 of the 3 bits of trad gear I used. The Onsight attempt was 1 fall reaching to the incut hold at the end of the crux, then clean to the top. Absolutely stunning! Perfect rock, sustained and unrelenting climbing. Every rubbish sloper can be made great with 1 extreme body position or another. Exciting runouts. A true Climber's climb with inspiration in Spades.

First shot of the day! Found a nice beta midway the crux. Also found a nice no hand rest before the second crux. Cut loose at the second last move by accident. So glad to stick it, so I didn't have to clean the gear!

Dogged a lap to work on sequences, then fought hard to send on my first red point attempt of the day.

I did it! Didn't get too pumped, but really out of breath by the top!

Finally earned my taipan stripe! Great taipan tv crew!! Really had to dig deep!! Last climb of the trip!!

Earned my Taipan Stripe first shot today. Followed by an epic 6 hr Taipan TV session in the sun. Great day.

2nd attempt. Misread the crux on the flash burn. Stellar climbing with a bit of spice

First real project, what an amazing climb + whipping on trad is pretty exciting. Placed the crux cam on my redpoint!

3rd shot.... a surprise Send as I power-screamed my way up the route. As the guide says: punchy boulder problems separated by good rests. Varied climbing with some long tough sections giving it a sustained vibe despite the rests. Great rock and a cool position. Deserves more traffic. The traverse start is quite gripping.

4th shot today via the original Will Monks version. Surely the all-free version must be 27++? Doesn't look like much, but climbs spectacularly. The lower half is completely independent, and is classic Taipan bulge-y oozing with a gripping trad start. The upper half is simply spectacular and sustained techo slimper-ing. I had to make a fair bit of noise to coax myself up this as my last climb of the trip.

A little bit of everything! Freaking rad! Good to get it EOD as my chalk bag was emptied at the traverse from the crazy wind! (2)

Absolutely incredible! Second time up on this part of the whole and it's the best. Can you get any better?
