Great climbing with the the iron stone looking rock seams. Tree belay works well. Tree chains need to be replaced. Lower off was easily rigged on adjacent climbs.

Fairly solid and enjoyable.

17 Black Munga - with Mark Gamble Sport 42m, 13 Average

Terrible rock to start off, can't say I'd do it again.

18 Black Velvet - with Mark Gamble Sport 52m, 16 Average

Definitely didn't feel like the 16 it was marked as, haha. Death blocks at the top seemed OK but YMMV.. Be careful!

17 Black Munga - with Max Sport 42m, 13 Average
Mark Gamble
Rather thin crux, couldn't pull it off clean. Good lead by Max.

18 Black Velvet - with Max Sport 52m, 16 Average

Some "16". Very thin, very sustained - right to the end over the death blocks. I think I had less than 20,000 rests. But it did take me about 2hrs to second.

Bold lead by Max. Very well done matey.

Good lead by Hilton, good gear placements.

Couldn't manage the crux without a rest. 4.5hrs sleep just doesn't cut it. :-(

Good lead by Hilton.

Almost didn't make it clean! Tough exit.

Good lead by Daniel.

16 Dogma - with Daniel Smith Mixed trad 42m, 10 Good

Based on the previous 2 routes we did here, both listed as "16", I felt confident I could lead this. Unfortunately..... it turned out to be a solid 16 & the arthritis was biting. Bailed at the 5th bolt. :-(

14 Your Karma Ran Over My Dogma - with Genevieve Kieseker, Daniel Smith Mixed trad 40m, 7 Very Good

Brilliant rock, brilliant climbing. Easily the best, so far, at the Grey Wall. Nice confident lead Gen.

15 Stigma - with Genevieve Kieseker, Daniel Smith Mixed trad 45m, 7 Very Good

Lovely climbing over grippy rock.

14 Your Karma Ran Over My Dogma - with Daniel Smith, Mark Gamble Mixed trad 40m, 7 Very Good
Genevieve Kieseker
Felt easier than Stigma so 14? Will take a few medium cams (0.75 to 2 or 3), although smaller gear placements can be found too. Good rock quality for Maroon 😂

16 Dogma - with Daniel Smith, Mark Gamble Mixed trad 42m, 10 Good
Genevieve Kieseker
This one felt spot on for a 16. Climbing is good but maybe a bit less fun than the 2 before?

These 3 climbs share an anchor which is placed above a bunch of solid-feeling detached boulders so... Whilst the anchor is safe, take care getting to it 😅

15 Stigma - with Daniel Smith, Mark Gamble Mixed trad 45m, 7 Very Good
Genevieve Kieseker
Fun one! Good placements to be found. Rock quality is mostly good. Feels a bit easier than a 16.
