Very funky route with the added spice of sea spray on the way up. Very well bolted with a nice low clip at the bottom to protect your belayer

Terrific route, very reminiscent of Frog (but short), but also think it would be 18+ there!

Very Tassie style. Happy just to work out the crux eventually!

Finally managed to figure out good beta and made all the moves clean but had several takes on the way up. Excellent route with several crux sequences.

Flashed this one (just), but on pre placed gear that Jeh left in for me. Quite difficult to get good jams in as the crack is flared and/or not an easy size for me.

Nice climb with a very tricky crux. Felt more like grade 21 to me.

Had to hang briefly on a draw in my onsight attempt to sus out the holds for the step across. It was fine in the end and the start is probably the most strenuous part.

Flash after belaying James. Great climb with lovely movements, although rock quality is sub optimal with little pebbles detaching on the way up.

Great crack with good gear, although small cams low down.

Not my strength so had to hang a few times.

Got on this as a warm up and found it really hard. If I didn't know the grade and got told it was harder than 20 I would have believed it.

Sent dyno after ~ 15 attempts. Didn’t start from sit start though. Good landing with 2 mats, great jugs and big jump.

Super! So different from your 'normal' NSW sport route. Thoroughly enjoyable climbing.

Honestly a really fantastic boulder to the first bolt, and adds enough to make the top exciting again. Can’t really claim the onsight as I’ve done everything but the first 5/6 moves about 100 times.

Got spanked and flash pumped placing gear and had sits. So not a stylish ascent this time. Super cruisy having the beta worked out a bit second go.

Too taxed to pull it all together, but I did the crux thanks to the much easier beta that George Broadfoot found. Heel hooks baby ! George Broadfoot flashed it in style !

So I think the grade is now better at 25.

Could be diabolical if you're short tho.

Climbed it mostly on gear, but did need 1 or 2 bolts as the seam is a bit thin to take proper gear. Dunno what grade it is, because I pulled off a critical hold as I grabbed the jug above. Probably 17ish, but meh

Bit of a chossy start, but the crack above is awesome. The bolts are an absolute disgrace, and need to be chopped

Rach didn’t like the start of the 17, so I decided to go direct to avoid it… she didn’t like that either

Epic route! Ground up onsight on gear, all the way to the hanger at the very top.

Whoever placed the bolts should be ashamed of themselves. The gear is bomber all the way, and enough to aid it.

I’d also agree with Frothy, it’s definitely not even close to 26, although 21 would be a sandbag

Quite nice. Maybe a little hard for the grade

2nd shot. A bit of a rush to beat the arrival of night, especially at the end of a rather intense weekend (and a long first day at Bombo!), hence the cheeky pinkpoint. Super keen to come back for the True send, though.

Amazing, frictionless, technical trad climbing, with fingerslocks, fridge-hugging, face climbing, stemming, and many foot movements for every hand movement. The gear is good, but small, fiddly, and rather spaced towards the end. The finale seemed very bouldery to me.

First lap was figuring out gear, cleaning the vegetation, and sussing the top crux -which definitely required some work, especially after I broke off a key footer.

Maybe 23 to the rest before the crux, with a solid 25 tick when you add the crux into the equation?

Awesome climbing on beautiful rock. The oozy, funkiness of this puppy totally makes it a 3-star classic route for the area.

I totally misread the crux on the onsight. Quickly figured out a more conducive way to approach it, then lowered off and immediately climbed again -this time all the way to the bracket above the anchors, placing draws. Maybe hard 23?

I have to admit, that this is a strange route to be bolted -especially given the ethic in the area- as it has stonker gear all the way up, and falls into that "pure trad lines should be protected, as they're a finite resource" sort of category. Even as a mixed line, this might be better. I'm not really sure why the anchors stop in no man's land, when the rock and climbing above is still good for another few metres.

Seconding Simmo. Wasn't planning on doing this, but Simmo made it look super-fun, and so I followed him up it. Really interesting, varied and insecure climbing (especially at the start) that packs a punch for such a short route.

Not as nice at its lefthand neighbour, but it does feature a super-rad step-across move to make it all worthwhile.

Nice rock, and fairly sustained. This was definitely a challenging introduction to bombo (and I may have almost fallen off at one point).

Went fine - there was some large loose rocks at the top which we trundled, much safer now.
