Ascents in Tasmania by gaetan

Did it in 2 pitches. 1st one is good fun with various jamming and bridging. 2 second one felt desperate, the overhanging groove is hard, rested on gear a bit.

1st pitch only, Couldn't quite work out the moves at the start, felt harder than 22. Good fun climbing after that

Great climb, did the direct finish as it's the logical line.

Got shut down at the third bolt, I had no idea what to do ...

Awesome position, the route was slightly damp but still climable

Awesome route, I had to dyno at the first bolt! Probably on the harder end of 23, but I don't think it's 24,

Got up to check the moves, quite spaced bolting

Nice Journey, fell off the second pitch due to wet shoe. Fell off the third pitch on second, due to runnel/crack being wet. We mostly climb the slab on the right for the third pitch.

Didn't really enjoyed that one, maybe because I was tired and sun baked.

Tricky start

some loose rock in the middle. Enjoyed the finger locks

first part is quite technical, could quite do the move exiting the roof, being on top rope didn't help.

fell on the last hard move. Hard to pull the lip even after resting on the rope !

A bit hard for the grade maybe, the middle section is quite thin and crimpy.

Hard start to a juggier finish

Nice corner, shame my foot slept on the flash attempt,

22 M0, I may have used the 3rd bolts stay balanced. Awesome face climbing with an exiting finish

Steeper than it looks, got a bit pumped, made pulling the crux a bit hard, Awesome climb.

Fell off in the groove using an insecure jam. exiting run out finish, keeps on coming !

Nice outing for a first climb in Freciney.

Went up to try the moves, nice sustain technical face climbing. Some moves felt a bit reachy for me

Had a go at it but fell pretty early, I had trouble trusting my feet with recently resole shoes.

Not the best warm up

Found it a bit tricky for the grade, but maybe it's the hillwood style I was not used to

Tried it a the end of the day, got tired of the never ending side pull. Got off route in the middle and had to jump.

Nice sustain technical face climbing, to finish on a roof. Almost came off as I can't heel hook properly with my muiras.

Started on Ghost Rider, and traversed into it. First bolt is really high and there is a tree in the way. Fun climbing,

Nice intro to climbing in hillwood, everything seemed to be facing the wrong way.

Awesome 3 crack system, the crux is probably knowing when to move from one to the other.

interesting start, sustained climbing. We spit it in two pitches

Off hand for me, felt quite insecure, great climb though.

struggled on the crux section, be rest of the climb is good fun
