Ascents in Red Rock: Pet Wall

Only got halfway up, just wasn't in the cards today. I'll add it to my hitlist

Spiny 1st bolt, must stick clip the 1st bolt!!!

Just did the lower part of the route which could be split in two part as it goes through the anchor of the 10a to the left. Maybe a 11a the lower part?!

Two Attempts and now have the beta. Also there was some confusion with route locations. This is the left most route of 3 that start on the black slab under a roof.

A couple of laps to remember the beta. Feeling pretty good about it for the next time.

Went off rout on falcon and ended up trying this crazy move though the overlap and having a sweet whip.

I'd be very curious to know what the intended beta for the crux is.

Worked the top section on top rope after climbing 'The Millennium Falcon'.

Got the red point although I'm not sure if I used the intended beta. Ended up going a bit left at the very top using the edge of the arete, which felt too easy for 5.11d, maybe 5.11b at most. I assume the intended route is to stay more straight and either dyno for the top, or find some other method with the few available holds. I also suspect there may have been a useful hold near the top that has since broken off.

I got on it to see what 11c holds felt like... They're hard.

This climb isn't over until you climb the chains. Couldn't get it clean, on the first go.

Sent it clean to the final bolt then stick clipped the anchor so I could work out the upper part of the crux. I think I've got the beta dialed now so I should be able to send it next time.

Climbed slow to remember the beta from last fall. Mixed up the beta at the crux and had to do pretty gnar hand swap.

Beta remembered. This was fun

My fingers were too cold to feel the sidepull crimp in the roof so I sat back to warm them up

Got spat off of this one a few times, once off the anchor. Definitely coming back to win this battle soon!

Got it down to two sequences. Next time when I am not exhausted from climbing all day!

Couldn't pull the start, just too tired. The rest went first go.

Very hard for a v3. I only made a few of the moves and didn't link much together and this heel hook along a lip style is one of my better ones.

Pulled a decent chunk of the flake off on the second hold. A little bit more of a crimp now... sorry.
