Ascents in 雷劈山 Lei Pi Shan having Beta

Damn that was a fight! Was on the wall for such a long time, always just resting for a long time then climbing real fast over one section, then resting again... Always beeing afraid of what's to come until I realised that I was clipping the chain. Great way to start the trip!

Ah man that boulder in Papercut is heinous... Felt harder then the top part of this one...

This is confusingly entered in the new guide, but Da Bao Yu and Sleight Of Hand are two new 'lines,' that could be combined into one long line. Da Bao Yu is the line that Andrew Hedesh et al did up the pocketed head wall, left of Power Of One. Sleight Of Hand is Duncan Brown et al's route, just left of Pickpocket.

This ascent is for the (likely 12c or so) Da Bao Yu.

Just one tricky section... Hopefully the extension will go

Polished start followed by crimps and high steps. Love it. First line in yangshuo and the flash pump is real

Very good climbing, just held on and my technique fell to pieces in the middle of the route where I was pumped out of my mind. Thank God for the rests after the crux. Then sloppily grovelled my way up the tufa at the end. Not my most elegant 25 onsight but happy with it in these conditions

线如其名。翻上第二把挂，大包的位置，需要很强的耐力才能找到手点。找到有效点的时候，手都软了。过完难点后，后面都是白送

Another fun route similar to pickpocket with some bigger moves

Cool moves. Harder for shorties.

Solid at the grade -- maybe harder now, as one good sized hold has broken. Fun route.

Nice endurance route with some longer athletic moves.

My first 5.11d onsight, on the warmup go after belaying for a whole day. Huge surprise for 2023! 这次跨年阳朔之旅没有红新难度的线路，却在Onsight上有新的收获，这条线后对于野外线路的身体感觉和呼吸调整更好了。

Quality the whole way, more thin and technical with a little crack climbing.

Ok climbing except for the awkward, unpleasant business at the top. Skip this one and do JeJa instead... that said, I know some people who like this route just fine...
