Ascents in Céüse as Hang dog

Well after 11 total goes I can't leave with this tick. it was fun to try something so against my usual style, and it taught me lots, just like a lot at Ceuse!

Fell on a move right after a standing rest but pulled straight back on and went to the top. great fun, cool to be back on tufas too!

Not a chance, felt pumped way too early. I think I'll give it a rest for a little while

another one to come back to, after a few unfotunate foot slips at the top crux. A block that was once a bomber rest fell last year and has added a new crux, so beware

Frustrated to not send this one. Just has one had crux, which I could do many times in a row hangdogging, but whenever I got there from the ground I just couldn't put it together. Fell at the one move 8 times from the ground

One hold high point. This war of attrition will be over eventually.

Oh my days it doesn't get much closer. 2 moves from the top. Hopefully I'll get through the crux enough times that I can get it done.

One hell of a sandbag and not at all inspiring. Glad I can remove it from the to-do list as I don't want to do it anymore

Really good, but a tough onsight through the rooflet. Very exciting finale with the bolts in the middle of an 8a slab right of the jug flake you actually climb

Fell a couple moves from the anchor. Pins and needles and poison blood pumped. Next lap was a no-go. Was fun to try hard while pumped

Good links! Made it to the second last bolt from the ground absolutely flamed with no hope of continuing

Stupidly big holds, stupidly steep. Rad. One lap to figure out sequences, some good links on the second lap and a TR lap linking the whole headwall.

Awesome route, but far too busy to squeeze a second lap in today.

Warm up inspect. Great moves, will try another day

Bigger links. Next goals will be from the deck to the 4th and from above the crux to the top

Fell on the jump twice. Think I have it sorted for tomorrow. I reckon the short wall before the overhang is the crux

All the moves now. The pogo to throw for a pocket in the last hard section is rad

Went the wrong way at the crux. Chalky pockets everywhere.

Got the 6b done comfortably enough. The second pitch was a truly transcendental experience. I haven't been scared like that in a while.

Couldn't figure out the boulder at the 4th bolt. Will come back after discussing some beta

Really awesome first half into a confounding and tough conclusion. Had to stick clip before I could commit to the move into the undercling.

Astounding line to behold. Very tough for me at the moment, and also wet at the anchor. Was quite gripped at times and took some massive wingers

Wet at the top so didn't have another go
