Um, no. Unless we got the two climbs confused. Felt more like a 7c! My brain is already in travel mode now though…. So maybe I missed something…

Interesting. Not as bad as I expected. Just one small hard section between 2 bolts.

At this point we realized we should have had a rest day.. 😂. Repeat.

Top rope at the end of the day to clean it. It felt much harder!!

Bouldery start then a super balancy end. Good fun once you’ve unlocked your sequence

One super hard move for us mortals. The rest is no giveaway. I’m too scared to lead. 😂

Cold and windy on the warm up. Odd climb. Not sure I found the path…

Damn. Ah well. Kinda thought my body was done for this trip so tr a couple of laps. First lap clean. Second lap one rest.

Waited for the sun. Putting the draws up. Felt terrible on it.

Almost went home but then the sun stopped playing hide and seek. The crux is quite fingery and sharp but the rest is really good. I feel I’m at that point in this trip where I’m just getting worse now, so just want to try everything that we didn’t get a chance to try yet. Tr second go.

First 3 bolts is a bit of a sandbag. Fun and interesting moves though. Still freezing in the sporadic sun. There’s probably a reason everyone else left early. Coldest day this trip.

Not as sharp as expected. Probably my most mentally scarring climb in a while though. While going to the 5th draw, inhaled a bit of ‘brown lichen’. Just couldn’t reach to safely clip the 5th, so dropped the rope and down climbed…. When I realized it’s not brown lichen. It’s billions (there was a lot) of baby spiders and now they are all on me. I downclimb a bit more, brush off my clothes with one hand… still on, and then realize the jacket is coming off, there’s too many spiders. Epically manage to get the jacket off (there was noise), spit out the spiders in my mouth…. And then sent the route. All day… I’m pretty sure there’s spiders in my lungs now. Luckily I’m not arachnophobic….

Repeat. It’s so cold I’m needing more easy warm ups to get moving.

Slippery and shoulder tweaky today. My foot just wouldn’t stick the start for the first time ever. My shoulder says walk away…

feeling very arthritic after all this rain. easy day to get the body used to climbing again.... ive been doing too much running...

repeat. I'm sure I saw snow on the mountains in the distance...definitely a 'warm up on something easy in the sun' kinda day

fingers were feeling a bit tweaky and the rain had left the rock a bit seepy... but by the time i dropped the rope on it, it wasnt too bad! 2 clean TRs. Was considering a lead but then Alcatraz got taken and its really too close. i didnt want to wait around so hence the second lap on TR

a dog and a TR. Not sure on a few moves but it shares alot with the climb beside it. a bit too squished in?

Super sharp on top half… razor blade sharp. Go gently! Mega winds so we bailed after this. Didn’t want to lose our rope to the rock blades! 😂

A dog to get the draws up and 2x tr. got a high point. Everything is worked out… now it’s just the weather. Probably not in the next week or two ☹️

Well, nothing else broke off and the kids have gone.

Woah hard!! By the time I could do the first crux my skin had gone and my first knuckles were swollen. Good but bloody hard for a 7a.

Scott pulled off a jug at the last draw. It has 2 cruxes now 😂. I chickened out on first lead. Plus the 30 school kids were a bit off putting.

One of those climbs where we were sad that we’d probably never get on it again… yet relieved that we’d got it first go as it was mentally exhausting on lead. Didn’t have enough mental gas in the tank to tick another climb so thought we’d run a lap on tr for fun. It’s still just as hard!! 😂😂😂

I didn’t know you could have so much fun on a 4. Really good. Warm down… 😂

Pretty new when we did it so dusty and dirty and holds breaking off. It’ll clean up nice though. Took 3 shots but probably because of dirt… and lack of sleep.

It feels like lichen powder residue on all the holds. Weird lack of friction today. Oh well, it’s all training right?

Apparently this is supposed to be easy… but today I found it hard. No friction (I guess it did rain for a week) and I’m weak!
