Tried to onsight but got too pumped out thinking I'd already done the crux. Really good climb especially if you are an ape like me

So nice to come back and tick off this beaut with Cinthy! 🖤 🦍 I'm definitely stronger, better, and enduro-fitter than a year and a half ago but also wtf is this humidity?!?! 😂🥵

Avoid climbing during midday as the sun will blind you after the crux.

🖤 🦍 Absolutely gorgeous route, with nice layback sort of moves at the bottom following the flake and an upwards hand jam 🤚🏼 into a small slot somewhere near the 3rd bolt to shake out before things get pumpy from the crux (just after clipping the 4th bolt) to the anchor. ⚓ THREE TIMES I fell off just below the anchor before I could clip it 😭 I refused to grab the chains ⛓ Ah well, I've become too bouldery lately and need to remember to climb smoothly and efficiently ♡ -in hindsight, this route helped me a lot to send "Mutations in my Genes" which no longer feels pumpy after this test piece!!

First go of the day. 6th go overall. One hang after clipping the 4th bolt.

Red point! 7th go overall (three of those were last season). This time I found a couple of half decent places to shake out thanks to advice from a friendly local. Along with the familiarity with the route it made all the difference. The best 23 I have climbed, but also has the easiest individual moves This climb is all about being efficient on a fun and sustained route. Very very cool. Recommend!

1st go of the trip. 4th overall. Two hangs, one after third clip and one after fourth clip.

2nd go of the trip. Clipped the fourth bolt from the ground. High point! But then couldn't be bothered trying hard at the top so just worked some upper moves.

Great climb, Given it 3 attempts. Out the draws in 1st attempt, 2nd - one move from the end, 3rd - no power. Pumpy route but easy for the grade

3rd go but should have been sooner. Fun climbing on amazing holds!

Pretty soft IMO, a good warmup climb.

Second go. Called take between 3rd and 4th bolt.

Third go. Decided to just hangdog after 3rd bolt to learn the moves better. Hung after clipping the 4th bolt and the 5th bolt as well. Not trying very hard

First attempt. Trying out the moves. Hung after clipping 3rd bolt, then 4th, then 5th. Awesome climb but I don’t know if I have the endurance.

Beautiful route! ♡ Love it! Really nice cruising on the flakes to the 3rd bolt and then fighting the pump through more nice overhang until after the 5th bolt. Slab to anchor. Crux is 4th to 5th bolt Gonna send this bad boi when I recover (hopefully endurance will have increased?)

My first 23 after trying the seven times. A bit like Electricorp but just harder. The crux move fells hard from the ground but easy in isolation.

Epic good, easy but pumpy af. i suprised myself and got this one 2nd try, day two into climbing here after a 6 month break of zero climbing

Fun route! Went for the flash, as an onsight is out the window with all the bloody tick marks, and was just too tired by the end of the day.

Was too pumped to pull the relatively easy crux.

Super fun.

Didn't have the steam after 5 runs on project 22s! Really sweet climb though.
