Routes in Norway

Used to be a trad route. Now there is a bolted line here, that is very popular. It goes slightly to the right of the original line in the beginning, but the rest of the route is the same, and the grade seems correct.

Up the right side of the rock. You can also use the wall on the right.

One of the best lines here. Pitch 1 goes just right of Gandalf & up the corner with a tree before trending right & up the arete to a large belay ledge. Pitch 2 heads right & then up the short & steep hand crack (crux) to a ledge. The final pitch takes gradually easing finger cracks through the orange rock to the summit.

On the left side of the freestanding rock, climb in the crack between the wall and the rock. Traverses a bit to the right and then up to a shelf on the left, before finishing out on top of the pillar, in the same anchor as Lombardia. There are three fixed draws in the crack traverse, which makes it easy to clean the route while lowering the most logical way (not back down the way you came up).

Straight up the thin crack to the right of Sloppy Joe. As the name suggests, straight up the long moves at the top, no traversing left to the edge and ledge.

Start 1-2 meters left of the arete in the black/grey rock. Good protection. First belay on a small ledge beside the big roof over Lys og skygge's first pitch.

The aesthetic dihedral. Takes small wires

If you start straight at the bolts route set as FR:6a / NWG:6-

If going from the left side, it's more a FR:5a / NWG: 5-

Steep start trending left into alcove then step left around corner and onto slab. Carefully pass potentially detached flake to finishing groove and mantle

Starts up Ilddåpen, then traverses left after the dihedral to reach a stance below the overhanging finger crack. Follow the sustained crack on good gear to easier ground. Classic.

6b+ in the latest edition of Climb Norway but 6c everywhere else

Norwegian grade 7+/8-. Starts on the bolted line to the right of Leningrad cowboys, and moves left into the end of Leningrad cowboys after some bolts.

The route starts by climbing up the tree next to the wall, in order to step onto the wall and clip the first bolt.

Well chalked route in middle of wall with mantle to ledge finish

Start off block and follow groove. Several blocks may have warning crosses, be careful of loose blocks

The (almost) rightmost route of the wall, up the dihedral.

Start as for Perler for svin, then move right into the madness.

It is common to skip the first two pitches and start directly from the ramp.

Follow up obvious finger crack to single bolt lower off (or walk off to the left)

Originally a trad route, now bolted.

Has an anchor 2/3 up the route (first part is grade 4+), but can easily be done as one pitch. Very nice and long warm-up route.
