Hard crux

enjoyable nice line, i like. good high up view of the peninsula before catching a longtail boat to enjoy the sunset from the beach.

thought this was the start to 4:20. super desperate bouldery start, had to downclimb to not deck it.

one of the hardest 6a’s i’ve tried. super polished. pulled hard on a mono and a ringlock?! guidebook topo is incorrect, start on the ledge sloping up left to right to avoid the risky direct start.

Gets quite pumpy at the end. The view isn‘t as scenic as I expected it to be.

Exciting crux

Found crux quite hard for grade relative to tonsai. Suggest 6a+

Jordan Edwards pointed out a sneaky pocket at the start right after I did some hectic beta that felt more like 7a+/7b for the second time. Mega classy route.

Nice root and really awarding view from the Top

Beautiful climb. Long and sustained. You can start from the ground if you have an 80m rope.

Amazing route but leading it is a bit of a mental challenge. Could have a couple more bolts.

Great warmup and beginner route. Félixe and Maxim’s first sport route and Maxim’s first lead. Good shady location.

Route not in the guide book. Worth at least 2 stars.

Amazing view from the top. Don't forget to look!

Very easy until it isn't. Bring your own sling as I wouldn't even weight the second sling. Couldn't find the fourth sling? Slightly run out at times but very safe falls.

After the rain, it was slimy and slippery at the bottom and had dirty, water-filled holds on the way up.

Still felt a bit sketchy on top rope because of the post-rain slipperiness. Holds pretty dirty and some full of water.

Head space really terrible today. Bailed on trying to lead anything. (Pretty slimy and slippery at the bottom after the rain yesterday).

Yet another failed attempt at something I onsighted 10 years ago - and this time even on top rope. Feeling thoroughly demoralised 😔

First half is easy climbing from ledge to ledge. Crux is nice with some finger crack moves. All in all soft for the grade.

Awesome jug pulling for an incredible view.

Soft for the grade as long as you figure out the crux. The anchor is not convenient.

Rather technical for the grade, especially compared to other 5th grade routes on Tonsai. Makes you feel your calves.

Felt much easier second go. Just have to move fast on the crux, climbing before and after is easy.

Straightforward in the beginning, a few delicate movements on the crux and then good jugs but a bit pumpy.
