Ascensioni in Back Wall

Put off getting on this for way too long ! Stoked! Up and down climbed probably too many times before committing the top.

Mistakes were made! Gripped by sheer terror, I inch my way through the traverse - each move painfully delicate. Getting to the slight off-width, I don't have the reach to place a cam so go with a nut and keep creeping onwards. A couple moves and then pop! I look back to see the nut dangling on more than a few metres of traverse... I'm overcome with dread, and decide to keep pressing on - COMPLETELY - missing the belay station. Riley checks in on me a while later - I'm still in full tunnel vision mode. Rope drag is horrendous, and I'm down to my last bits of gear using a sling from my PAS and biner from the chalk bag. Grovel my way through the awkward chimney, and there at last are the bolts. I sit at the bolts mentally drained, and it only dawns on me as Riley gets to the runout traverse I've left him, that I've also accidentally led both pitches!

Fun chimneying - and a bomber lucky purple hex!

Jason accidentally lead the entire two last pitches all the way to the bolts. What a FIEND. Holes in his shoes, no chalk, insane rope drag, pulling off the hardest traverse I've ever done, hats off to him. He ended up using his PAS and the biners from his chalk bag to clip his last few pieces as he has literally nothing left. Midway through my second one of his nuts fell out, leaving me with a 10 meter horizontal run out through the crux of the 18, which got the heart running. Good fun!

HOly fuck, absolute mega classic! wasnt allowed to read description before, did it at night and wowwwwwwwwww, some of the most exhilarating climbing i've ever done!! Huge got lent a headtorch coz i forgot mine with the helmet back at camp haha. Good to send with Gabe, the roof crack was wild!! couldnt believe it

The 2nd go dream. Awesome bolted boulder problem. No harder than 23 but would get 2.5 stars in Nowra!

#repeat Last climb of the trip before heading off to the Gramps. Still an excellent climb. I forgot how bad the belay placements are at the end of the 2nd pitch. Probably could do with some bolts here.

This is quite fun! It was never going to be a flash for me though. I won't weigh in on the grade (in the "difficulty feedback"), other than saying that I don't think it's soft enough to be downgraded to 22. Probably feels easier for a boulderer, but for me would be a solid 23 at least! Dropped at the weird top in my second go, so needed a third!

Nice climb I reckon. A bit spooky at the crux of pitch 2 if you haven’t placed much pro. Pitch 3 is chill if you don’t use Luke’s stoner beta.

2 tie ins on the sharp end for the pink point!! Stellar route but foot slipped halfway up on the second attempt, could've had it? For another time! Red point would be way harder!!

That ending is kind of shit if you're super tall. Next time I'll try the Lady Dihedral link-up.

Full on experience at the grade - sick! Few godddimmmmssss and gee gee willikahs but she went with a Gorgonzola!!

Intimidating! But easy climbing and bomber gear everywhere.

Think you can Mantle on slopers with grace think again this climb with keep you thinking is it wet or just slick. Only one way to find out.

Increddddible day out such much fun, third pitch has great gear and beautiful view. Overall a really fun chill day out

Sick short bouldery climb. Went down easier than expected. Still managed to get this even with my terrible technique.

Amazing stuff. Second pitch was a tad spicy with lovely exposure. The third pitch was the best time ever, so improbable. Lots of people say take hexes but a 5 did the job no worries.
