Ascensioni in Back Wall

Initial attempt saw me climbing a little further into the crux and back off about 3 times before I fully committed to beta provided (heal hook mantel). Unfortunately I became stuck on the bulge with my left leg flailing in space. I subsequently received the whip. Shocked senseless I lowered in a smouldering heap and cowered off questioning if I should attempt it again and sure enough I was back that afternoon delicately working through the awkward initial moves to find myself at the pre-crux rest. I blasted up to find myself matching the hidden crimp for the crux mantel again but this time I had no intention of dropping it and I proceeded to pull myself up, knees scrapping, to find myself above the bulge and home free! Safe to say, only pitch 1 was lead. Gear up to the crux was left in place for the send.

Another bash because it needed cleaning, managed the first sequence into the gaston then worked the crux sequence a bit. Til next trip

A bloody good adventure. Type 2 fun in some sections for sure.

Really enjoyable Climbing. Exposed Second pitch but really good holds. Quite an interesting sequence getting out of the cave on the last pitch. Place gear Appropriate for the person on second as they might go for a swing.

Shut down. Need to come back stronger and fresher. Till another day.

Really enjoyed this old school classic. Has a bit of everything, with a slippery bouldery start followed by satisfying jamming.

Absolutely classic! Fantastic exposure on the 2nd pitch and the 3rd pitch bridging section is wild. Took about 15 minutes of "surely not..." before I committed to it

Super fun moves! Grade is very generous though. 23 to the left felt harder

Done a while ago

Lovely climb. I forgot how much the rock pushes you off to the side for a lot of the moves. It was nice to follow the pitches this time and to correct my previous rope drag issue when I was first learning to lead

This time through the chimney I climbed higher and had my back against the wall. I definitely prefer climbing lower and making some nice delicate moves across the rock on the vertical face.
