I did the 10A variation for pitch 1. The guide book says pitch 6 is ' a difficult pitch to enjoy' and I agree. Very exposed.

Only did 1st pitch

3rd pitch is the best by far.

Marking this one for Bec as her first ever 5.9 lead! She did so awesome, even climbed into a trap above her last bolt, downclimbed, reset and then sent! So proud

Had awesome fun. Good variety on average rock, but nice climbing nonetheless.

Did 10a variation before joining the main route 3 pitch onwards. Classic route! Will be back for 10d and 11 a variations for sure.

Quite thin and technical down low before fun slab at the top. Stoked for Beccy who climbed this clean and with no falls. So good!

Showing some multi techniques would absolutely suggest a 5.6 at most with most moves in the 5.5 range

Really enjoyed this with great techy slab moves and thought the guidebook grade of 10d was appropriate however I haven't climbed the 2 10c's next to it so who knows.

A fantastic day out with Shep from Yamnuska Mountain Adventures.

Shep led all the pitches, including setting up slings for me on the bolt ladder on the 8th pitch. Great climbing the whole way, especially in the two chert rock sections. The 6th and 8th pitches have chert pockets that were probably once snails or some other ancient creatures, back when Banff was under water. Every pitch has something different... face climbing, slabs, chimneys/dihedrals, and a rest pitch (5.8) before the hardest one.

Climbed the 2 pitch start variation of 5.9+ and 5.9 then followed onto the main route. Absolute classic climb offering stunning views of the bow valley with a fun 5.10b pitch, highly recommend

Super fun route. A quick packing job between camp trips saw me pack 2 left climbing shoes so I climbed this in my approach shoes. Protects super well and loads of fun. I lead all pitches with Bec who cruised it

Led pitches 1 & 3. Felt quite over graded, particularly when compared to Le Soulier at the same crag. At one point I could literally touch 3 bolts at the same time on P3 😂. Definitely great for a beginner lead but otherwise uninspiring.
