5.9 Godzilla P1 - with Brittany
1 5.9 35m Trad
Trad 35m Index Town Walls Mega Classic Sat 30th Sep 2023
Does it even get better for the grade?

17 Barbe Di Vendetta - with Harry Kadi Trad 90m Ben Lomond Mega Classic Mon 8th Jan 2018
I led the first and third pitches on this and man it felt hard for 17. Sustained off hands on the first pitch left me gasping for air and then terrifying choss on the last pitch combined with quite funky climbing also had me working. Superbly awesome last route out here though and a great way to top The Ben. Hands are now absolutely messed after 5 days of jamming dolerite.

17 Moby Dick - with David Tan Trad 15m Arapiles Very Good Fri 5th Oct 2018
Way better than expected. I love a good layback! Part of David the Strong Canadian's crack circuit for the morning before he headed to Tassie.

17 Mari - with Dad, Rene Provis, Julie Pon Trad 35m Arapiles Classic Tue 2nd Oct 2018
Great varied jam crack. The smooth rock just hugs your hands. Very worthwhile.

17 Oceanoid - with Dad Trad 75m Arapiles Classic Wed 12th Apr 2023
It was raining and kind of full value.

17 Grey Mist - with Harry Kadi, Lewis Trad 30m Point Perpendicular Very Good Thu 14th Jan 2021
Tricky

17 Gabriel - with Harry Kadi Trad 12m Launceston (Cataract) Gorge Good Fri 5th Jan 2018
Quite tricky down low and a bit if a ramble at the top. A fun little route that stayed a bit hidden from the sun.

17 Afternoon Delights - with Harry Kadi Trad 11m Launceston (Cataract) Gorge Good Fri 5th Jan 2018
Nice to do some hand jams for a change. Pretty cruisy

17 Sweet Dreams Left Variant (Sweet Dreams Variant) Mixed trad 120m, 12 Blue Mountains Very Good Sat 4th Feb 2017
17 Fire Bug - with Harry Kadi Trad 63m Blue Mountains Classic Tue 27th Feb 2018
Another easy trad classic ticked off the list and one that I thought was very solid at the grade. Harry led a giant first pitch, climbing we are not sure how many actual pitches and finishing on top of a big block. This left the awesome overhanging cruxy section to the top out for me which was just fantastic. Highly recommend!!

17 Freewheeling - with Harry Kadi Trad 26m Blue Mountains Very Good Sat 3rd Jun 2017
funky with good holds in all the right places

17 Psychopath - with Harry Kadi Trad 28m Blue Mountains Mega Classic Sun 3rd Sep 2017
Eternity will be working hard to contend with this. Awesome jams the whole way. Committing but not particularly hard and interesting with a limited rack.

17 Flake Crack Trad 53m Blue Mountains Classic Wed 11th Jan 2017
what a route!!!!!

17 Technical Stuff - with Ben Sanford, Gilbert Flynn Coombes, Rowan Mixed trad 20m, 6 Blue Mountains Good Fri 3rd Sep 2021
Pretty fun really, though should just have one more bolt at the start and be a sport route. Wandered back and forth between arete sides as it seemed contrived to stick to just one.

17 Interstate 31 - with Paul Frothy Thomson Trad 30m Blue Mountains Mega Classic Wed 2nd Aug 2017
Today i learnt to crack climb and it was hard. Exciting leading it with a fairly minimal rack.

17 Little Red Riding Hood Direct - with Eamonn Mixed trad 30m, 8 Point Perpendicular Very Good Sun 12th May 2019
Pretty tricky to start and on rock I was struggling to trust but the top half is superb. Possibly more than Eamonn bargained for.

17 Master and the apprentice - with Ben Sanford, Harry Kadi Mixed trad 45m, 5 Blue Mountains Very Good Sat 15th Sep 2018
Great hand crack to slings on tree, the continuation didn't look super.

17 Rambling Man - with Harry Kadi, Ben Sanford

Trad 40m Blue Mountains Good Sat 15th Sep 2018
Sucked in thinking this was an FA but had a feeling it was too good to be true. Nice but sharp hand crack on pitch one with some suboptimal rock up the top and then short ramp and more sharp hand crack on pitch two. Didn't take heaps of gear so I built a belay on stacked wires which was amusing.

17 Pitch 20 - with Match Trad 20m Blue Mountains Very Good Mon 29th Oct 2018
Super duper worthwhile! One of the best pitches of The Camel (along with pitch 16) so make sure you do it. Surprisingly steep and pretty unique for the Bluies.

5.9 Autumn - with Paul Frothy Thomson Trad 24m Red River Gorge Classic Wed 11th Dec 2019
Awesome warm up hand crack. Trad is rad!

5.9 Kor-Beck - with Gwen Trad 190m Yosemite National Park Very Good Sat 22nd Oct 2022
It rained and we got very wet.

17 Maharajah - with Harry Kadi, Dad
1 17 24m
2 17 18
Trad 42m Mount Buffalo Very Good Sat 16th Feb 2019
First climb of the trip and it was great. Went up the flake at the start as width is not our area of expertise. So fun seeing Dad get rattled the whole way up! Slab at the top was more exciting than I was fully expecting

Trad 230m Mount Buffalo Mega Classic Mon 18th Feb 2019
Probably the best long, easy, crack multipitch in Australia! Such wildly good and varied jamming on every pitch, from ring locks all the way to offwidthing and tight chimneys at the top. We did most of it in approach shoes but there is one section on pitch three and pretty much all of pitch four where climbing shoes makes life much easier. Our rack was double cams from 0.3 to 3 with a single 4 and two extra 2s. This was more than enough gear and in reality you could probably just have singles from 0.3 to 0.5. We also had nuts but only placed a few to justify our having brought them.

In regards to taping, it is hugely unnecessary on this climb. The route is so slabby that you rarely have to weight your jams in any meaningful way, so leave the tape or gloves at home and use it as an opportunity to improve on your technique.

All up a completely excellent experience with the light rain that flavoured the day keeping the scorching sun away.

17 17 R Missing Link - with Mac Labine-Romain, Louis Trad 30m Arapiles Mega Classic Sat 6th Oct 2018
I totally love this shit. Easy but thought provoking climbing up an intimidating line with some exciting gear. One of my most enjoyable recent climbing experiences for sure! Radness. (Pretty much an onsight but I had rapped over the top of it twice coming off other routes so we'll call it a flash.)

17 Cardiac Arete - with Harry Kadi

Trad 38m Blue Mountains Very Good Sat 21st Apr 2018
Linked into the top pitch of this via Genesis for a great long pitch.

5.9 High Strung - with Greg, Davis, Jack Trad 28m Joshua Tree National Park Very Good Tue 7th Jan 2020
Brilliant climb marred only by the block you can stem out to for a lot of it. I found the wide more exciting than I expected. Well worth it.

5.9 Dazed and Confused - with Greg, Jack, Davis Trad 55m Joshua Tree National Park Very Good Tue 7th Jan 2020
Worth doing if you’re out at Mental Physics. A fun, heady slab. Also done as one giant pitch.

17 Smoked Banana - with Dad, Harry Kadi Trad 40m Frog Buttress Classic Mon 15th Jul 2019
Repeat with Dad. He got this clean on second which isn't bad for someone who has only climbed two days (at Mt. Buffalo) in the past 10 months or so.

17 Sweet Nightmare (Link-Up) - with Dad Mixed trad 130m, 12 Blue Mountains Classic Mon 25th Oct 2021
High point on your proj then multi pitch into the evening with ya Dad. Classic!

17 Sweet Dreams Middle Variant (Sweet Dreams Variant #2) - with Claire Mixed trad 120m, 12 Blue Mountains Very Good Wed 20th Apr 2022
17 Green Points and Cam - with Harry Kadi, Ben Jenga, Paul Frothy Thomson, Heath Black, Lee Cujes Trad 30m Blue Mountains Very Good Sun 20th May 2018
Climbed scarily on just the wires we had left in the bottom of our bags and Neils #2 cam. Really nice and obvious line and pretty clean. It might have been done previously but it didn't seem so. Did this because the line for Indian Pacific was long and I didn't want to get in the way of other's sendage attempts and i had big plans for the following day so I wanted to save some skin. The monorail looks so mega though, I'll definitely be back for it.

5.9 5.9 R T.S. Special - with Zack Mixed trad 30m, 1 Joshua Tree National Park Tue 31st Dec 2019
Very very R. A fall from the incredibly sandbagged crux move pulling through the roof would be terrible, I was happy to be on second for it. Zack ended up building a belay due to rope drag and I did an unprotected second pitch of friction to the anchors. Tobin Sorensen was a mad man.

17 St Clemmen's Crack - with Harry Kadi Trad 50m Blue Mountains Good Sun 25th Jun 2017
Only climbed to the double bolt belay - some good sequences at the bottom and top marred by a small forest and choss garden in the middle - a good adventure though

17 Scorpion Direct Start - with Louis Trad 14m Arapiles Very Good Thu 4th Oct 2018
Super straightforward and quite nice. Not particularly hard but a good warm up for what lies ahead.

5.9 North Overhang - with Jack, Luon, Trinity Trad 35m Joshua Tree National Park Very Good Fri 3rd Jan 2020
A wonderful way to spend an evening. We watched the sunset on top with a few beers. Sublime.

5.9 Damper - with Eric Trad 14m Joshua Tree National Park Very Good Thu 23rd Jan 2020
I went up and took a whip on my tooth brush, Eric whipped on a beer can. Then I seconded it. Fucking burly!
