Begehungen in Boya Quarry als Tick oder First ascent

Easy top-rop setup access. We set up a top rope only to find there was a single bolt at the top of the route that we could have used.

Awesome fun and quite different to the other climbs we've done. A big fun flake on a well textured wall. Hard work as there's no rest. Unfortuately I had to aid climb a hard spot in the middle. Looking forward to trying again when it's not dark and wet.

Shorter, boulder style problem.

I made it to the second difficult section, got to the crimp hold but couldnt drive up high enough. Looking forward to ticking this one off.

Bolts are in great spots. One of my favorite climbs in Perth.

A good one to start the day. Bit of choss. I believe there was 4 CB to a DBB. Not much for a 30m climb.

An easy climb up to the mantle. I could not work out how to do it. Ended up grabbing the quick draw to finish it. Looking forward to trying again.

Drilled holes as finger holes.

Delicately move up to the large break where the fun begins. Interesting move to get off the break before a big committing move to jugs to clip the last bolt. Final top out requires good use of high footers on the right.

Nice climb to get into the style of the climbing at Boya

Climb up to the steep face, no hands rest before game time. Few high steps and mantles before a big move out left followed by mantle to clip the anchors

Great mix of moves. Love the arete.

The deadpoint for the last BR is nice, but the final mantle is the test.
