Found this line 3 yearrs ago and Eman just beat me to it and i didn't return until the wind of today reminded me of our session. Still a 8/9 I can't do a 10 in a session. Awesome climb very board style glad to have knocked this one out

I thought getting stronger was going to make this boulder more pleasant. Turns out I had 3 attempts, 2 of them I dry fired trashing my left hand fingertips and the other one my foot slipped and I banged my chin on the wall.

Deja Vu, got spanked again... I remember why I never bothered coming back now 🤣

Still a good problem though and it's nails.

Great climb with a scary mantle over the little roof that is definitely the crux of the whole thing.

Great undercling move to gain the sloppy crimp before the jug.

Powerful and a bit harder than the LH variant.

Was incredibly sandy and dirty. Had to abseil from the top to clean.

Boring ladder.

Too short to be 3 stars.

It is all about the one little boulder to gain the slab, but it is quite a nice sequence.

Tricky to figure it out, but with good beta you dont pull hard at all.

2nd go, missed a key hold on the onsight.

Found new beta which makes this one feel a bit easier. Harder than Diffraction but probably not by much.

A genuinely awesome route with a bit of everything. From overhung jug hauling to a burly mantle to a delicate slab, it even has a (non-compulsory but very recommended) finger lock in there. Would be a hard route to onsight, especially with so many ways to theoretically do the crux but only one quite specific practical one. I found the mantle particularly sequency. At least 3 no-hands rests on the route and some very thoughtful bolting. 3 attempts total! Again, absolutely stellar route.

Could do all the moves up to the rooflet. Didnt try the slab above.

like a less burly COAT and you can weigh the foot a lot more. helps if you are taller.

First 23! And what a stellar route! Pumpy jug hauling to a no hands head bar rest, to a spicy mantle and delicate slab finish! Definitely the line of the crag.

Bit of brushing required, good slabby climbing. Don't miss the clip.

Finally got the tick, crimps for days till a somewhat committing move to the last hold. Heel hook around the lip is the key.

Crimps, crimps and heel hooks. Gave a good thrashing at the end of the session, managed to close to the finishing move. Will need to come back with more skin, super keen to get the tick. Potentially a v8 to v9.

Brutal crimps and precise footwork. Very photogenic though.

Committing move to third bolt with slight runout.

Technical with small feet. Very unobvious starting sequence with a spicy finish. Happy to get it done as my last first ascent in Straya for this trip- it's a bit of a belter.

Hard and crimpy! Put a lot of work into this. Should prove to be an area classic. Had a repeat fom one of the Healy twins in 2015.

Extremely varied climbing. The slab at the top is the living end! Superb route.
