Large upper wall with impressive roofs.
Most of the cliff and approach is on crown land. Some of the climbing is on private land -- the owner (John Jeffrey) has, historically, been friendly. "He likes to talk." Please be courteous and friendly if you meet him -- likely running around on a 4-wheeler.
There are, also, usually active nesting Peregrine falcons on the left side of the main cliff (left of the waterfall) -- avoid this area during the spring and summer months.
From the fallen maple, take the left-hand fork and head upwards following the (mostly) obvious trail, up through a talus field trending generally leftwards. As the trail tops-out, turn right towards the now visible large cliff. The trail arrives at the cliff at the base of the route "Set it on Fire". There is a nice patch of poison ivy at the base of the easy slab climbs and directly under the rap out of the asylum ledge.
The trail at the base of the cliff heading right toward "Welcome to the Jungle" is over grown and many of these climbs will required bush clearing at the base. Watch for poison ivy.
Total about 40-45 minutes from car.
All climbs have anchors, rappel/lower.
Top Roping: Most/all routes have top-anchors. Please do not pass rope directly through the fixed gear for top-roping, use your own gear & only use the top-anchors for final lower or rappel.
