steep slab and cool overhung moves around the arete

Three cool bulges, nice jug hauling. Lots of fun.

Panic! Soothing words from my belayer got me through. Stoked to finally get it clean.

Bit awkward. Nice jams. Fun.

Had to use aid to get a nut out but managed to sequence the crux cleanly. Nice fingerlocks. Scary lead for Steve with some hang dogging - you'll get it clean next time.

Morning shade a must. Bring Big John Silver. Lots of cams. Need 2 bolt plates for moves on pitch 3. I lead the start, nice slab then a meandering corner with an interesting steep move. Steve bossed the last two pitches. Tricky roof squeeze traverse so preferably no backpacks. Wave to Mr Chicken. Last pitch started fun, then crux (big silver) was scary. Fist jam is life. Jammed left foot into the crack as well. Thrutchy. Was at my absolute limit. Spare a thought for your second and place a piece in the leftmost crack after the crux (large cam?). I didn't like thinking about that massive swing if I fell on the crux. I wished I had chalk.

Sketchy start was a bit scary. Then steep jug hauling. Nice climb. Tiring.

Fun balancey face climb

First half was quite scary and hard. Or maybe I was just breathing hard. Either way very happy with this lead. Well worth it.

Managed first juggy overhang but needed a rest on the second because I missed the foot out left. Wandered into crescendo for the top pitch.

Thought I was on tigers tail! Bailed at second bolt. Steve lead it. Then I top roped.

Amazing. Every pitch was exciting. Exposed. Scary. Cool moves. Thought provoking.

Tricky roof. Cool leg bar. Very overhung. Huge jugs. Felt really good to send it.

Two very fun roofy bulges that look intimidating from below but have good moves.

Crux slab move near the start was intimidating but good.

Suss rock, bring larger cams for top moves. Alright.

So good Hard roof move took forever to figure out, bit scary, but it felt awesome when I got it.

Two hard parts. The undercut ledge near the start and stepping off the flake and onto next ledge. Steve took his first fall on gear! Blue offset

One of my favorites so far. Thought provoking chimney followed by an airy second pitch with mostly good jugs and a wee bit of dicey rock. Used lots of cams up to size 3. Convenient rap chains at top. Both pitches grade 13 in 2016 guidebook.

poorly protected above the block. Quite good.

Lots of cams. Bit of rope drag from the first step across out left. Final moves are cool. Sneaky undercling. Would like to do it again and climb it better.

Weird sploogey crack. hard.

Lovely until the sausage squeeze. Hips didn't fit. Should have just bridged the outside the first time. Second pitch has over lovely move. Third pitch starts fun then tapers off.

Second pitch 3x crux moves and final pitch are always harder and scarier than I remember. Wanted to do lady dihedral but the sun came over. Next time.

Comedy of errors but an excellent climb. Juggy exposed fun. Number 4 Cam was handy but not a necessity. Did it in 3 pitches (for moral support stepping out to the arete, also reduced drag).

Liked the flake on the first pitch. Traverse was awkward but worth it to do the third pitch. Ran pitches 4 and 5 together.

First pitch was hard. Wasn't quite sure where to go a few times and some moves were tricky. Often a section looked harder and more intimidating than the actual move. Loved it though. Traverse was fun and easy. The horns are cool.

Definitely deserves a star! Proper chimneying. Got my blue number 3 cam stuck but Steve got it out.

Good lead by Doug. Very scary rock. Final overhang has huge jugs of you can reach with one high foot pocket and I just couldn't do it without a few sits. Too tired. Maybe if I was fresh.

Excellent ramble on a wet and windy day. Had some fun simul climbing after scrambling first pitch, I lead the 50m (12) Brilliant corner.
