Zustieg

Drive West along Conzelman Drive from highway 101 until you reach the Hawk Hill parking lot. Continue on the one way road towards the Point Bonita lighthouse 0.8 miles to a paved parking lot on the left with a small toilet block. On Google this is referred to as "Headland Lookout", but a sign at the back of the parking lot calls it "Upper Fisherman's".

Park in this lot and walk down the obvious trail to the beach. Walk right (West) along the beach and cross over to the next beach over a crumbly saddle (take care - it looks as though a lot of rock has fallen down here recently). The first area (Hidden Cove) is located at the far end of the next beach, while the next area (Last Cove) is one more beach along, also at the far end.

All areas are tide and swell dependent.
Some bouldering is possible at low tide in any swell, but many of the problems will be washed by waves in all but the smallest swell (< 3.5 feet). Keep a close eye on the tide at all times, as it is possible to be trapped by a rising tide!

Expect lots of fisherfolk, as well as the odd nudist (especially at Last Cove).
