P1 mildly terrifying in the vertical crack. Lucky I still had a blue cam. P2 traverse was the hardest thing I've ever done OMG terrifying. Maybe did it wrong?

Accidentally went left too early on Horseman. A bit scary and didn't extend enough, so much rope drag.

Kate did mock lead and I checked placements

Roof is a bit tricky

Very fun climbing. did pitch 3 of calisthenic to top out the cliff

pure quality. linked pitch 2 and 3 into a mega pitch. super fun

Very good for the grade. varied climbing and wild exposure on the 3rd pitch

Uhhhhhhh. Not very confident in the protection on P1. Good thing it's easy. P2 surprisingly good at the end, hardest thing I climbed today. Started raining at crux.

lol. Belayed from right of two trees on Dennis ledge? Got the two confused on the topo.

A few crux moves. P2 was a bit wet, and I went over the angled overhang instead of through it.

Rested once. Could probably have flashed if it weren't so dark and I could see the feet. 😢

Led with some pre-placed gear but backed up some of it and added my own. Not as bad as CC Route. Belayed follower from above.

Pretty difficult. Wouldn't want to lead yet. We used the big ring for belay and rappel, but don't do that. Go higher and there is spot for gear anchor. Big cam isn't necessary, but is a good idea.

Such a mess. Couldn't do 2nd move. Stupidly thought I didn't need big cams and left them behind. Had belayer send up two C4s on accessory cord so I could finish it.

Cool moves. There is pro on P2 traverse but need small cams for that and for anchor. Bootied a cam.

Easier than Double Chin

Second roof is tricky/scary.

Started Shit or Go Blind but then finished on this, so "Shit or Go Picnic". In the dark.

Clean after a few attempts. Crimpy holds, especially one side crimp.

Tried the first move a few times without a rope, and Fran placed the first cam before bailing, but still counting as a flash. First few moves are very polished slippery glass feet.

Linked all pitches. Not bad.

Super fun route! Only had an hour in the gunks, and only top rope. Very glad I spent it here!

Exactly as described on the Mountain Project. Really lives up to the hype.

Easy, close to sunset so just P1. Followed & rapped in the dark.

Dirty, leaves, cold hands, pretty easy. Rapped off City Lights.

Just P1 before it got dark. Not sure if on-route. Run out slab. Talked Kate out of leading it.

Good that we can see and hear each other for a first lead, but not the best places for gear

Pretty easy. Went right up to the tree instead of left as Gunks App shows. Anchor around tree branch was not great; would be bad if it broke. Better to wrap cord multiple times for friction.

Difficult but not scary difficult. Silas watching placements. One ugly but solid cam, one mediocre nut.

Led with Silas watching. Pretty good, easy. Slung a piton instead of clipping.

Very easy but still cool

Led all pitches. Went over diving board this time, then across face to ledge. 5.5 variation at the top.

Fun varied climbing. People who found the traverse hard to climb and protect went too high. Traverse right after the frog bulge. Trad anchor at the bottom of the dihedral. Last pitch can be linked but I decided not to do so for rope drag and encouraging the second.

technical moves down low that protect with small gear. The overhang is fun jug hauling but the protection is scarce so it's better to not spend too much time searching. One pitch with a 70m to the top.
