Ascents in Blackheath Area as various tick types by Christian Lopez

The first pitch/section of this route is outstanding, unfortunately the bolt placement is horrendous. Unless you are 6ft tall. The top pitch climbs well, but isn't as crimpy or turned on as the first. Still a great route overall and definitely worth a lap or ten.

A hard 24 at the grade, but neverless a good one

Why this route isn't better protected is a shame. Two more bolts would make this a shipley classic at the grade.

Not as hard as other 25's in the area

Way to hot for a summer lap

just warming up as the easy stuff was taken.

Pumpy down low with an easier finish after the obvious jug.

Easy climbing to a committing clip right at the crux or after, depending on how brave you are.

Took way more shots than it needed, due to the sun being annoying. Great climbing on good rock, if you aren't scared of the runout's.

Went down second shot. Looks harder than it is. Great route for if ypu are trying to get out of the sun. First big move is horrible.

Has a stupid run out at the top, but it's easy climbing.

Sent it without a kneepad, surely that adds a grade 😎

Where's the kneebar, I couldn't find ittt.

A walk in the park until you find the crux!

Maybe it could have gone first shot if I tried a little harder.

It was our warm up for the day. It definitely got us warm,really warm,really fast!

Was getting smashed at the start until I finally figured I could jump/Pounce at the sloper jug. Felt great to tick it off again,slowly getting stronger.

Used the crimps and the pocket instead of trying to dyno the crux.

Cool route, personally i think it's just as hard as black heathen. I dont think the grade changes where you finish as you still have to pull that last little mantle after traversing left which is the last hard move of the route. What runout
