Mum please don't make me do that again. Fell trying to step over to the ledge, sat once more because I pumped out. Need to go higher before stepping over next time. Top section is a sweet relief from the start.

Bit scarier on lead with the gear down low. Trick is to stay in tantrum instead of busting out to the arete as early as possible. Kind of a shame because the low arete moves are great and there is a chopped bolt there.

Was pretty stoked to work out beta for the start that works for a shorter reach end up getting a left foot jam n reaching out for the side pull quite a hard sequence if your shorter or dont have flexible hips for the drop in right knee bar

The rest was easier but total pump fest trying to find the footers n hidden crimps on your first time up there

Wowee what a route!! God damn desperate the whole way but such nice movement. Felt somewhat bad for disrupting the serenity on such a beautiful day with my involuntary, animalistic screaming.

Took two sits, one was completely unnecessary. Super happy with the burn, feels so good to dig way deeper than you think you’re capable of.

Putting the pieces together, literally. Spent most of the day sorting the gear while cooking in the sun. Went for a sunset lap trying to place gear but messed up the beta and fell halfway through. It goes, but it'll take a few more sessions to polish the beta and gear placements

Absolute banger. Up there with time for tea with movement quality.

Psyched to get back on this and bump my high point up to the crux. Unfortunately I forgot my beta and peeled off. First whip of the season

Slipped a couple of times down low - awkward!

The pin scars were full of dirt so we stepped in from Devil's at half-way so not the true line. Pulled on some gear proper to get through top crux but some amazing moves up there. Cleaning up the scars on rap for future ascentionists and boom! Ants! No one needs an ant crux.

One heartbreaking fall on the dead point move. Had 2 pads wrapped over the absolute bucket of a jug and somehow dropped it. Pulled right back on and rocketed to the top, upset i didn’t get the top rope flash (lol) but still stoked nonetheless.

What a mega line though. Absolute fantastic climbing top to bottom. I was expecting greatness but god damn it was even better than I expected. Definite four star, gotta reevaluate the other four star ratings I’ve given for cracks. Absolutely loved the victory lap of jugs up to the top after the crux.

Definitely will be back to lead, pushing 21 a lot sooner than I’d expected yewww! Ty Marty for the stoke

I think i got about a third of the way up before stepping across. Made me very keen on Yankee though!

Sat at several points, got the gear and beta figured out. Proud of the lead as it was pretty sweaty 😅

Great OS by the man! One sit but pleased with the effort after six weeks off the tools.

Intense belaying as Alex laybacked/face climbed the ow start, not an ow technique in sight! The hardest climbing he did all day.

Sat to check out a stuck green totem down low, would come out with a little effort.

First red point go 1st burn wasted abit of energy clipping the bolt after the flake and fell from the diamond high point

Had big rest 2nd burn felt really good route was in the sun made it past the diamond rock was in cruise control then foot slipped off a hold on the final head wall above the last bolt another high point

After that route was in full sun tried again but bailed quick too sweaty

Lower yourself into the pit of despair. Filthy, and dark, bring your headlamp. Emerge back to the harsh daylight, battered and sweaty.. if you like suffering this one is for you. 17 seems a bit of a sandbag..

Fml punted after the elevator door going for the final sloper beneath the good crack and then fell in exactly the same place on the second burn. Still felt abit fatigued from Sunday.
