Routes in New South Wales and ACT for selected grade

Another old trad line only recently written up. Sustained climbing up rightward slanting crack on pinkish rock.

1. 15m Up groove then move slightly left. Up for a few moves then back right to crack through bulge. Follow crack to ledge.

2. 25m Move diagonally right a few moves up slab, then trend back left to ledge at base of obvious crack. Up crack to horizontal break. Traverse right and follow crack to small ledge below final bulge.

3. 8m Follow crack to small roof, climb it to reach jugs leading to top. Tree anchor.

No info known about this route as it is not listed in print guides.

Start: 3m right of "Ode to an Orange". Harder than it looks. Crack etc.

"Pleasant and well protected. Up seam and wall past 3 BRs and a break to cam belay", or "Up the prominent fin, passing three manky BRs to blocks (cams) and cam belay."

Start: Right of "Freck's Effort".

Start as for Scimitar. Up Scimitar or wall on right to alcove at 10m. Traverse right (2BRs) to anchor 1 of Knife of Air. Mike Law, Stephen Hamilton 1994

Back up the road on the opposite side to 'Dumpling'. Harder than it looks

Start: At undercut arete 200m W of Devils Hole.

1. 8? bolt runners to chain. 1.5-2.5 cams

Medium Cams

Start just left of the chimney. Red scoops protected by cams in a break out left then honeycomb to a single BB. Take care

Just left of SS. BR and PR

Take a full rack, brackets and a #1.5 Fr for above 3rd bolt. Rap 35m off DRB.

Starts in the middle of the cave, follows obvious crack and pockets thru roof,passing 4BRs to DRBB at cave edge, Lower off here.(first bolt requires 90 degree plate as its hard to get others on). Can finish over lip, but dirty.

The obvious, large undercut arête.

1. 23m (18) Start around left on easy block. Traverse right to arête and first bolt. Then up via 6 rings and medium cams to DRBB. (The direct start is about 20,)

2. 6m Ugly thuggery through overhung mess. 5 bolts, no lower off.

The arete 8m R of TBFA. Good climbing, almost worth a star. Rap 45m off DRB. We did pitch 2 but not clean yet, please keep off.

100m L of the gully. Is initialled, diagonal crack to ledge. Harder to protect than it looks. Presently vegetated in its entirety.

Mostly unappealing black slabby wall that forms left side of subtle arete 2m left of Baldness. Rusty bolts.

Bouldery climbing, lovin the power of the undercling.

Unknown, supposed to be 55m R (west) of Screaming Pretty with bolt pro.

Rediscovered while climbing "That Sixties Groove Direct", where a lost arrow piton, sling and steel carabiner are insitu at the base of the main groove. Whether completed at the time or bailed at the peg, the climb would have approached across the featured wall from the right and finishes up the groove (now protected with modern cams)
